This restaurant had some of the worst service I have experienced in a long while. Our waitress was not friendly at all, barely spoke to or looked at us, and never smiled. It took us over 45 minutes to get our food after ordering it, which is a long time for a breakfast order. After 35 minutes of waiting, I politely asked the waitress about our food, and she informed us that they had a lot of online orders. It was clear to us that the online orders were prioritized over the customers at the restaurant. We were not the only ones who complained about the long wait. When we finally got our food, it tasted good, but my husband’s omelet was at least 30% to 40% larger than mine despite being identical orders. Lastly, when we asked for the check, our waitress brought over her electronic card reader and handed it to us with the total and tip options displayed. I said that I wanted to see the actual charges for the food and drinks, and she responded that the total was accurate and she wasn’t cheating us. And then she stood over me waiting for me to select a tip and sign it. Against my better judgement, I signed the charge and gave her a tip. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough! Needless to say, I won’t ever be going back there.

The waitress in the photo was so rude and miserable. I don’t even know why she suffers her self to work here. She hates her job and the customers. What she doesn’t do is smile she isn’t kind ! She held my order for over 20 minutes and all it was was grits and sausages then said it would take another 20 because I simply said it’s already been 35 minutes. I got an alert for my order. I get there I wait 15 she said another 20. Then she said another 20! The cooks should be stressed but they were more kind! A lot of jobs are stressful like being an MBTA bus driver in Roxbury!! Lady QUIT! She should be happy her business is in business and valid the customers I seen restaurant owners crying after the pandemic and she thanks us for keeping Charlie open !

Extremely disappointing. The staff is rude and unappreciative. The french toast is okay, but the eggs are overdone and the smoothies were disgusting. Would not recommend this place- literally go anywhere else. This ruined my Boston experience. We paid over $120 for our food and the staff was extremely rude. Absolutely awful.

Such a great place! The dishes we ordered were amazing. Melted tuna couldn’t taste any better. The place is pretty tiny though, make sure not to come at the rush hour or be ready to wait a bit. Very nice atmosphere and people who work there were the nicest
