We are a restaurant with a large variety of food, always cooked fresh when you order! We have a large covered patio right off of the Devine Golf Course. We serve breakfast from 8-11 am Tuesdays-Saturdays, as well as lunch and dinner until we close. Charlie’s has been a family name around Devine Texas for over 35 years!

Waitresses were quick to get our drinks and order placed. Took over 1hr to get our food. We order the fried fish, which was the special on Fridays. Over an hour for something that should be ready, especially if it the Special.

Made a Togo order I waited over 30 minutes, I was told to wait and sit anywhere and it would be brought to me. When I went to see how much longer it would be the food was just sitting on the counter, when I opened the food a few minutes later (no longer at the restaurant) I could tell the fries have been sitting there for a long time and the order probably was sitting there almost the entire 30 minutes! She also said I was going to get a side salad and that didn’t was missing from my order too. That was not worth the money or tip I left at all. I was sitting in plain sight and I was super polite and they couldn’t even take the time to think about where my food was and to make sure the order was correct!

If I could take away stars I would. We waited for over 30 minutes for our food ..breakfast taco, Eggs and biscuits. We could see food sitting under the warmer for at least 20 minutes. We asked if it was ours and It was! They had the gall to bring it out to us. The sausage pattie was cold…not luke warm…COLD. WE watched the 2 waitresses stand in front of it and talk multiple times. We will never go there again. Posted the review when we left to eat somewhere else….15 minutes later we have our homemade, hot, fresh food at Chayitos.
