I’ve eaten here 3 times now, although I live 3 hours away this is my choice, it’s very clean food is super fresh and delicious and staff is spot on with service and gratitude….but today 8-25-2023…the chicken fried steak was horrible……probably won’t give another chance….sorry charlies…lol no pun intended.

Worst food I’ve ever eaten. Very disappointed in this Charlie’s location. Could tell the potatoes were instant still saw the potato flakes in the containers they were put in. Food was flavorless, got a12 piece meal and they had no legs. Baked beans were sour too taste so I guess they had a flavor unlike the potatoes and gravy. The rolls were smashed flat. Don’t waste your time going to this place. I can see now why they weren’t very busy.

We love Charlie’s chicken. It tastes like it is brined in buttermilk over night. No idea if it is, but it is crunchy and juicy so much food for the cost. They have excellent fried okra, potato salad and potato wedges, plus their chocolate pie is great!

Ordered a 12 piece mixed chicken only because I was told it would cost more to get 3 thighs and 3 breasts any other way. Got home and only had 10 pieces, missing 1 thigh and 1 breast and chicken was cold and dry. Won’t be back.
