We enjoyed a late lunch at Charlie’s on a Tuesday – it was surprisingly busy, which is a good sign. Nevertheless, we didn’t wait in line too long and our food was brought less than 10 min after we ordered. I got the sesame chicken and my dad got the hot and spicy beef – both were delicious! We also picked up 2 egg tarts (Dan tot in Cantonese) that were the cherry on top of an already great meal! The egg custard was divine, and the pastry layers were very flaky. This New Yorker is very impressed!!

Stopped in to Charlie’s Bakery for dinner and loved the food! I was wanting to try this place before leaving town and it did not disappoint! I started with the Szechuan Spicy Wontons (with shrimp, pictured) and the Mongolian Beef (pictured.). Both really were delicious, the Mongolian Beef especially so. The restaurant is counter service. You place your order and pick it up at the counter to either take away or eat in the restaurant. As it was late in the day there was not a substantial selection of baked goods for sale but if you are looking for some tasty Chinese food, Charlie’s Bakery is the place to go!

Delicious hot food delivered to your table. Quick even though there was a line to the order counter. Generous portions in a small out of the way place. Large menu item to choose from. I enjoyed chicken chow mein ( lots of chicken in the dish), mom enjoyed broccoli chicken. It’s definitely worth stopping in. Option to dine in or take out. It was crowded when we were there a little after the lunch hour.

Ordered egg rolls, wantons, orange chicken and Thai curry and it was well worth it. No wait time, extremely clean restaurant and restrooms. The food was undeniably the best. Do not skip, go right now ; That’s an order.

Love coming here to eat steamed buns. This time though we got soup and it was delicious. Only complaint is that it took a little bit for the food to come out, but I didn’t mind as they were very busy at the time and was well worth the wait. Definitely recommend everyone tries their steamed buns as well!

10/10!!! We chose this place after seeing a TikTok from guzzygrubs. We ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice, sesame chicken, Thai curry chicken, dumplings and potstickers along with the egg tarts. The Mongolian beef and sesame chicken were my fave along with the light and delicious egg tarts. The whole place was super clean, I really appreciate a clean bathroom. We will be back

This place was slightly packed when we got there. Food kinda lacks flavor, to us, except for the moonglian beef over rice. Our least favorite is probably the noodle soup, it just tastes a little off.
