We recently moved and found this place nearby, now my boyfriend has me going three times a week. The food is always fresh and delicious! The fish of course is great but even the other meals like the chicken philly and the chicken fried chicken.

The spicy basa is my favorite. I usually get a shrimp boil and have to share! Food is always delicious and hot, ready on time almost always. Wish they had dine in seating but we will take it home and eat regularly

No matter which location you go to, the food is always good. Friendly service. Call in your order because it’s FRESH. At least 15-20 min on average. The fish is salty (just my opinion) BUT you can request little or no salt. My favorite meal is 1/2 basa, Mac & cheese and fried okra. Get you some!

After coming from a full day of church services and traveling there was much anticipation to have a decent meal. Unfortunately this is my first and last trip to this location. My family loves/supports Charlie D’s faithfully. I’ve never had a poor experience until today arriving at this location. We waited an unreasonable wait time. I’m trying to be compassionate, nevertheless the customer service was subpar at best. We were told upon arrival we could only order all on one ticket or drive around for each individual order. Once at the window we still had to wait a long time and were told we couldn’t do the rest of our orders because they are closed. Mind you it was day light when we arrived and dark when we left. I pray they improve drastically. Good luck!

Although fried to perfection. The catfish was way too salty and the Mac n cheese was stovetop Kraft at its best. However, the fried mushrooms were perfectly crispy and tender. I ordered a chicken breast but got a teeny tiny bit of grilled chicken about the size of a small coin purse for $5 when I ordered fried chicken. The clerk refunded my $5 with no problem. My half pound catfish meal was $14. Customer service was great. He was polite, patient and friendly. However the wait was at least 20 minutes. Will I come back? Not sure. Depends on what my blood pressure is when I check it at home. Frfr. This location is better customer service wise than the Xpress location that’s for sure. Didn’t order because they were rude so I came to this location instead. Still didn’t get to taste the delicious fried chicken people keep writing good reviews about.

Service is slow, which is the case at most black establishments. I asked for catfish and they gave me Basa or Swai. They didn’t have the sauce for the tired fish tacos and didn’t make us aware before ordering them. Fries weren’t hot, but should’ve been considering the 30min wait. The green beans were good. My food tastes better than this place. Never again!

I specifically asked to make sure I had catfish and not Basa I talked to them prior to my order being made. Guess what I still got Basa. It’s should not be a choice if y’all gona give me what you want me to have. I’m so pissed. I done with them. Keep having bad experiences and I try to give them a shot again.
