Bought the sandwich just by itself a large Philly cheese all good went to pay did the tap to pay All good was 1094 and then all of a sudden I look at my banking app and it says I was charged 12.58. so im like hold on a second, so I look at my receipt and it says that I was charged $1.64 for a tip which I did not tip them so I asked them what’s up with this Do you guys try to charge like an automatic tip or something and she was like oh you must have accidentally hit a button. I haven’t been to a Charley’s in ages, and this one did not disappoint! This is a food court location in Capital Mall that is largely deserted in this time of coronavirus lockdown. Everyone wore masks and gloves, as did all patrons in the mall that I could see.

I don’t even want to give these guys 1 star. I made an appoint to help out someone in need who needed a drink on this hot summer day. She wanted a soda. My total was $2.00. I gave the cashier $5.00. The cashier asked me if my money was real! I am appalled by how I was treated by this company and i.will ensure that everyone knows not to come here based on their discriminatory actions today, Saturday 6/25/22 at 2:30 PM. YOUR cashier needs to be talked to because this kind of action towards an upper class woman is not acceptable in the slightest!

The food is normally pretty good, but the older lady that is always at the cash register at nights always has an attitude and seems to not understand that if I’m paying 70 extra cents for each drink to get extra strawberries every single day when I eat here and and spend a minimum of $35 I don’t want to be given an attitude when I ask for what I pay for. It’s at the point that if I walk in and see her I turn around and leave because I know I will get ripped off and attitude. I’ve definitely started going back more since I now see her on grill and not register, so I have no problem changing my rating I’m glad Charlie’s actually listens to there customers.

Could use a better system for getting orders out. Order took 30 minutes, and a few people waiting ended getting a refund because it was taking too long. I get that food service gets stressful and businesses are having a tough time finding staff right now. The two dudes making food seemed a bit flustered, which happens. What I didn’t like was the cashier wasn’t do anything to help them. She was just taking orders and telling the guys to hurry up because they were going too slow. When she didn’t have orders to ring up she was literally just standing there watching the guys on the grill or telling them to hurry. She could have easily jumped on fries to help expedite orders.

The woman who took my order was mundane, unenthusiastic, and reminded me of Wednesday Addams. I loved every second of it! The food is top notch quality and served in a timely fashion at peak lunch hours. Definitely going to return!

This place is terrible!! The young kids just stand around and play and joke instead of making food. I understand the short staffed in some cases but this was a case of lazy employees. The guys seemed to be irritated that the young girls were not helping. This is the second time I’ve came in a month. I will try again never at this location!!
