I stopped in to grab a bite on a quick lunch break and the Philly Steak was delicious. Quiet and friendly atmosphere and professional staff. The prices were decent as well. I will definitely go back soon. I gotta try the Chicken Philly next.

I am familiar with the locations they have in the mall, but the stand alone stores are a different beast. Every thing was laid back and calm, restaurant spotless, food was made fresh and tasted the same as usual (great), but employees like Irvin Garcia that go beyond what is expected, is what makes returning customers.

Charley’s just opened at this location. After living 8 years in Phillie, I had my first cheesesteak at this location with great expectation. It was very good and true to the Phillie tradition of making these steaks. The roll was soft, the steak was delicious and the onions and provolone made this item well done. An added bonus that you wouldn’t find on a street vendor cart in Philadelphia is nice French fries. Dare I might say: The were McDonalds- like. A large cheese steak was &10.99 without the fries and drink and about $3 more as a combo.

This is the second time that my family and I have gotten Charley’s and we have gotten food poising. I am not sure what is going on, but I think something needs to be investigated there. Charley’s is a great place, but i felt like I was dying when I was sick.
