Awful experience, would never eat at this place if I have to deal with the employees that are serving this place. They ignored us and took everyone else’s order, when we stood in line the guy threw something in the sink and we were told that we had to order on the kiosk although he had just taken someone else’s order. This is the rudest staff I have encountered and if something isn’t done, this business will soon be out of business. I am very disappointed with how we were treated.

The worst place to eat at the mall by far. Employees won’t even interact with you, they hide in the back to make you use the kiosks then stare at you and hand off food. Overall feels uncomfortable. Waited for a ridiculous amount of time for my drink while being stared at just to be told I have to go on the other side of the counter for it. Overall food is sloppy and small for what your paying, do something about your employees. Just go to Subway.

Waited patiently while African American girl with black/blue hair and giant eyelashes did everything possible to avoid looking at me except the occasional side-eye while she laughed and talked with her coworkers. Not sure why, but I continued to wait while she skipped over me to assist multiple African American couples (I am Caucasian) before finally stepping up to the register where she said nothing to me; just stared condescendingly at me until I gave my order. The loud; explicit rap music being played there was distracting as well as unprofessional for a food service counter. The sandwich was difficult to eat because it was all just a melted mess piled onto an open face bun that you could barely find under the fillings. Apparently racism can be displayed by people of any race or color equally. The sandwich and fries tasted good so it wasn’t a total loss and the only reason I could even give ONE star, but I will never return to or spend a cent at Charley’s Philly Steaks again. Nor will anyone I know.

By far, the best Charleys I have had hands down ate it 3 times in a row when I went to Auburn Hills for the weekend. My veggie sub was amazing, and seasoned fries were fried perfectly. Strawberry lemonade was good and sweet but not too sweet.

Cheesesteak and fries were low quality even for fast food and really messy. Lemonade was full of ice and my order took nearly 20 minutes to get, but the place was packed and the workers seemed to be doing what they could. However, people kept bringing up orders that were incorrect and needed to be remade, which contributed to the wait. Also, a Philly cheesesteak, steak & cheese fries and a lemonade was $18. Not close to being worth the price in my opinion. Will not go back. Would have rather had a subway steak and cheese sub.

This place should get zero stars since the employees claim the restaurant is never open.. all 3 times I have tried to get food here an employee comes out and says “we aren’t open” and then disappears into the back…. ( please note the one time this happened was at 1:00pm on a Sunday.. that’s right prime time for lunch) Great business model
