The ambiance was nice. We were left at a table that had just been unoccupied but needed to be wiped down so we simply waited. The waiter/bartender returned and told us to sit, then proceeded to spray the table and wipe it down. (Needless to say we waited until he finished before sitting) Food and drinks came in a timely manner. I got the chicken fingers (I know I’m basic) and my fiance got the Kobe sliders, both things were bland and my fries had absolutely no type of seasoning. It literally took 20 minutes, after we ate and placed our napkins on the table, for someone (not our waiter) to stop by and ask if we needed anything. Very disappointing experience as we were excited to try them out and their menu does look and sound delicious.

First time visiting Charley’s Aunt. Bartenders were very friendly and know how to pour a decent drink! Didn’t eat but food looked very good. Will be going back soon to sample the menu.

We went on a Thursday night after work at 9pm and it was packed and super loud inside. Our waiter Joe wasn’t helpful at all, have off a weird vibe like he was all that and didn’t have time since his friends were here…. The first issue is that I wanted to save my plate and utensils and he had the nerve to touch them and place them on the table. Secondly… They really need to learn how to make unsweetened iced tea, it was so gross, I couldn’t drink it. He (out waiter) walked by numerous times and eyed my drink sitting away from us, on the far corner and said nothing. I said it was gross and I didn’t like it and he did nothing about it. My husband ordered the Chipotle burger and mozzarella carozza. He was happy with both, I didn’t like the red sauce. My crab cake sandwich was nothing to write home about, it was edible but flavorless. The waiter walked by a few times, we mad eye contact, ad yet he still did not stop to see if we needed anything. Not once.

Charlie’s Aunt is known for their burgers, and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is changing as the restaurant is renovating and expanding into the building next to it. Think it will be twice as good.

Cozy, mellow neighborhood pub. Typical bar food, with a few classy dishes on the menu. Bar food is great, however, at times it may be slightly undercooked. For example, the mozzarella triangles and steak fries were not crispy, but oil-soggy-like. Simply alert them to crisp your items (if preferred) when ordering. Chicken picatta and mash were excellent.

Cajon chicken isn’t spicy. No gluten free subs. Burger was pretty good! Enjoyed lunch for sure!
