The food here was really good but nothing crazy special. The dumplings where my favorite, very delicious. Even better with the Crème fraîche dip. The service how was excellent, top notch. Our bartender was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The cocktails were, as such, fantastic. Overall very much worth a visit.

I’m a HUGE Korean food person. Anytime we can try somewhere new, I’m all about it. We’ve only gotten take out here a few times and the food has been nothing but phenomenal. The braised pork belly is some of thee best I’ve ever had! I’m also a huge fan of their dumplings. We decided to order ahead this past Sunday and actually sit at the bar and wait for the food. We had never had their drinks and really wanted to try them. Sadly, what could have been a five star review was ruined by the bartender that was working that night. We told her we were waiting for our take out order, but would like to sit down for drinks. Not for a moment was she friendly. We had to ask for drink menus. After this, she never asked if we needed anything or wanted to order. She was very unapproachable and seemed very flustered. She was also far more interested in whatever conversation she was having on her phone. This was all exasperated by our food being over 20 minutes late for pick up. This place is totally worthy of 5 stars but the service was pretty disappointing.

Absolutely loved the food. It’s my first time trying Korean food and wow oh wow. So many flavors, you’ll feel great. Big thank you to the chefs, it was amazing. Also GET THE DESSERT! (Thank me later 😉 )

Tried Char’d for the first time with a group of friends after making reservations and man, it did not disappoint! Even the vegetables were to die for. They’re a bit pricier than some other local Korean places but the atmosphere and creative touches with the dishes will more than make up for it. Don’t forget to try a croiffle (croissant waffle) for dessert!

The food itself was good but a bit overpriced. The service on the other hand was pretty bad. Our server came to our table a total of about 4 times. We had to go find her after she left us sitting with our waters for 20 minutes and again when we wanted to pay to leave. The other 2 times were to ask what we wanted to drink and to bring out the food. During our time there we saw 3 other tables get sat and served their drinks and appetizers before we had to find our server to take our orders. (We’d been there for about 20 minutes at that point and had only been served water and all three of those parties were sat after we were) Aside from all of that , the sharing plates we received prior to ordering any food were dirty and we did not receive any replacements. I would not touch this place with a 100 foot pole. The only time I’d ever go back would be if it were for a business meeting.

Ever since being baptized by Korean drama and watching all the different korean foods that are popular, I had wanted to try them myself.

No one ever screams about Char’d for some reason. But the food, atmosphere and service is beyond legit and will have you feeling like you’re socializing in the Itaewon district while you’re actually in Milwaukee. I’d like to give a huge shout out to the bartender, Deion, who entertained my party while also putting on a great boombap playlist keeping the bar section most fun. I am now fat.

Love the decor inside, not too busy for Friday night at 630pm. Group of 5 literally tried all 8 appetizers not a single one disappointed us. Everything was seasoned amazing and not a single dish tasted the same. The dumplings had a little spice, the pancake was good, small area was soggy but really great textures presented. The seasoning on the fries, fire! Edamame was seasoned well, we tried the lemon seasoning. The cauliflower was a little kick but to much, it comes toward the end of the bite. The shrimp and wings were really good too. We were not fans of the kimchi, just not for our tastebuds but literally we did not have a bad bite. Waiter was great and very attentive, drinks were descent, sangria pictures and lemonade as well. Would come back and literally eat the same as what we ordered, you won’t be disappointed ALSO you have to get the dessert, the waffle is sooo good and the ice cream… solid!

I have to say hands down one of the best Korean restaurant . Enjoyed every single bites of the food. It’s a cute date spot for couples as well as friends gatherings. The vibe is chill and cozy, plus the staffs are also very friendly. Can’t wait to try their scallions pancakes next time !!!
