I ate at Char Q last night. My first visit to the place, that I really hadn’t heard of before yesterday. We were a large group in a private room, maybe it was called the wine room, the service was exceptional, from the greeting of the first two hostesses to the wait staff and everyone I encountered. The appetizers were delicious, including what might have been a spicy salmon on black rice, some really amazing cauliflower that was breaded and in a sauce, some meat filled long pastry type of things, and some charcuterie board dried thin sliced meats. I ordered the filet mignon, which came in a light amount of mushroom sauce to one side, a sweet sauce, and another item that was like a spread, excellent, I didn’t know what it was. There was an attractive assortment of different potatoes, and some chopped tomato sides on my plate that completed the presentation. I don’t eat steak very often, this was so good it made me question why. I walked out of there extremely impressed and incredibly satisfied. I will most definitely be back there again soon. We ate early, six pm, and I loved that because the view is beautiful with the daylight and the big windows.

Beyond 5 Star dining. Servers tend to everything you need. It was made to fulfill your everything dining 5 star plus kosher experience. Such amazing starters, dessert, main dishes, drinks, atmosphere plus plus plus a must do…. coming from a NYC regular.

The food and ambiance is pretty good here. Service is a bit of a toss up depending who you get but its not bad. Please change the name of the menu item you call “rack of lamb” to lamb chops which is what it actually is. Very deceptive.

You pull into the golf course and you are hit with beautiful views right away. What a way to start your night. The restaurant is right through the double grand entrance doors to the ballroom. You are greeted by the staff who check your reservation and then seated. The ambience is really nicely set. High ceilings make you feel a bit closer then usual. The chairs were comfortable and the tables were set perfectly. The staff were all very friendly. Now let’s get to the Juicy parts the food. We had 2 entrées the Beef Bou and the lamb something. The lamb something was delicious really out of this world the way they had it sitting on the rice was like when a toddler sits in time out. Was just sitting there so beautifully and still. The beef was great the bun it came on though was a bit to chewy for my taste but the plating and the meat were both exquisite. Then after what seemed like forever our steaks finally arrived. At first I was taken a bit back by the portion size it seemed a bit off. But after I took my first bite into my perfectly cooked steak I knew it was well worth the wait. The steak was Mamish A taste of heaven perfectly seasoned and all. The jam sauce it came with was a bit plain for me. But the steak itself was really enough it didn’t really need much sauce. Our server John was really delightful and sweet. We are Definitely looking forward to going back here.

Wow!! Unbelievable. The best service. Started out with a great martini and a bottle of wine. Then on the to the best appetizer. The sliders were out of control. Then the entrees, the rib eye was on another level. Then the desserts were the best.

You can’t judge a restaurant unless you taste it all. So we ordered the entire menu. Great food, great ambiance but best of all the service here is better than any steak house in New Jersey.
