We just had to stop and try this BBQ hotspot. We shared a 3 meat plate and a side of fried okra. Everything tasted amazing. The brisket, sausage, and ribs had a great smoked flavor, good bark and overall delicious. The only reason for 4 stars over 5 was that we did get an end rib that was very dry and the brisket was all from the fat side.

Chappell Hill Sausage Company welcomes you with great smelling smoked meats as you pull in. There are a few tables to eat there and there was a constant flow of people. I ordered a jalapeño sausage on a stick (a must from a place that has sausage in its title) as well as a junior bacon cheeseburger. It was all so good! And it was no junior burger, this is a massive burger. You have to get it with bacon because the bacon was thick and crispy. I’m a fan! Thanks Chappell Hill Sausage Company for a great lunch.

I had been a customer there for years and recommended the place to many people. For several years the service was very cordial but had begun to change. The butcher had started this attitude that he would not provide service to me. He pretend to be very bust all the time but would wait on select customers. The meat quality had changed also to the point that I had no reason to stop there anymore.

Please go back to the recipe you all had before the pandemic because these sausages are now horrible in the grocery stores. The sausages now crumble upon cutting them and the skin is like construction paper that rips just by pulling it.
