Went to Chapo’s Latin Cuisine a few days ago while in the area. The dishes we ordered were very delicious and authentic, just like I remembered. No complaints, just compliments to be said here.

I would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you are thinking of having food catered. I ordered pernil and Pollo Al horno for my daughter’s birthday and received many compliments on the food.

Family owned & operated restaurant. The food is authentic as could be! I travel from Midland Park to enjoy my little piece of Puerto Rico on a plate at least once a week. The Owners are super attentive & staff is very respectful.

Food is amazing! Some of the most flavorful and tender pernil. Great food. Polite and friendly service.

I’ve driven by this place a few times but it has always looked closed. I may be wrong, but this place is probably criminally under-visited. In an area where we have a million pizzerias, Italian Delis, and bagel shops, this place was a breath of fresh air. The food was just straight up good. No frills. No BS. Just well seasoned – not OVERLY seasoned – good food. Based on the breakfasts, i think they’re trying to diversify their meals a but which is great. Just keep doing what you’re doing though! Had the sancocho (soup), empanadas, rice and beans, and chicken guizo. *Chef’s kiss*

The food is so good and I’ve been coming here with my mom for years but recently I’ve come here and the fat old lady in the front is nasty as hell and I would stop coming here purely based off of that

Stopped in to pick up a dash order. I explained to Chapo his cooking smells so familiar when I was a kid, going to my friend’s house when his mom cooked. He graciously offered me a drink and meal. I couldn’t believe it ! Just like home!
