Everything was delicious!! We waited a long time to get a table (almost 2 hours) but we could get some drinks before to eat. The atmosphere was nice indoors and outdoors. Excellent music and bands! (Just too loud inside so nobody can talk). But they have the best seafood. Different choices of sides and fresh and healthy too (broiled cod yummy!!!) and the prices are good!!

Great food. Reasonably priced. Big fresh portions. Interesting dressings.Fairly fast service (the place was super busy, but food was served as fast as possible). Life music on Saturday. Not a fancy restaurant. But great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to visit.

This is a go-to nearly every week. However on this occasion there were 7 for dinner. 6 of 7 were happy with their meals. Mine however was not… And I will say Mama at the oyster shrimp bar is the best! Love her.

They have good food. I recommend the boneless buffalo chicken wings. For main course I usually get the Irish plate which has sausage, chicken, steak tips with potato salad.

The “Chip” has been one of our favorites for years. Their food continues to be consistently good, although much smaller portions lately. Yesterday was another disappointment. We arrived at 7:40 and put our name in for seating. We were told 25 min, which is understandable given the time and popularity of the restaurant. At 8:40 I went to check on our status, and was told there was a major problem in the kitchen and we would t be seated for at least another 25 min. I asked how long ago this occurred, and the manager told me about 30 min ago. I am a reasonable person and understand things happen. But they invested in a reservation/ text system to communicate with people who were waiting. Don’t you think someone with half a brain would have said – hey, we have a big delay here- let’s inform everyone who is waiting so they can make an informed decision to stay or go BEFORE ALL THE OTHER RESTAURANTS IN TYE AREA CLOSED!!! Fail for lack of customer service. The manager offered a gift certificate, which I declined as I was not interested in being comped – just to have one of our favorite restaurants to keep their service levels high instead of falling into the complacency track.

Had a great experience at this restaurant with our waiter Blake! He waited on 14 girls for a bachelorette dinner and was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Blake!! He recommended the swordfish and it was delicious! We had espresso martinis for dessert

I found the stuffed quahog overly stodgy and lacking clam meat. The lobster ravioli special was heavily over salted drowning any other flavors. My dining partners broiled cod was served cold.

We love coming to Chapin’s Fish and Chips! The food is always delicious, the staff is very friendly and there is often live music playing. This is a great place for families. There is seating inside and outside. If it get’s chilly at night they have heaters by the tables.

Been here recently three times now. We had a great experience every time. It’s kid friendly, great, vibe, and excellent service. I’ve had the hot lobster roll, a pasta special, and fried belly clams. All were fantastic! Love this place. Oh and tasty chicken fingers and fries.

This place has a lot of potential. It seems popular and the reviews are good, but we were a little confused about that. All of the waitresses were so kind and amazing, but when they brought out my food, I was a little shocked. I ordered the broiled cod, and they brought me a piece that was smaller than the palm of my hand, but also less than one inch thin (smaller amount of fish I’ve ever gotten in an entree). The majority of the plate was stacked with coleslaw and the broccoli side was cold. They were kind and took it off the bill and let me re order, but still a little disappointed because I was excited to try this place. Fries were a 10/10.
