First time at this location cause their high rating, staffs were friendly but the food was alright. Broccoli was really hard and I got salmon for my protein, tasted not fresh at all so as their corn. I don’t like their spicy mayo, very plain, won’t come back again but if you are nearby it’s ok to give a try.

Awesome poke place, the best we’ve had! They were super friendly and the portions were good for the price. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back.

Overall the food was okay. I probably would have been able to enjoy it more if there wasn’t a whole bottle worth of chili flakes on my dinner. There was so much that I tried to scrape it off and still couldn’t eat it.

Great service! Tasty add-ons compared to many other Poki places around the way.

Went in 15 minutes before closing, felt bad about being that guy, but they were very kind and patient with me while I was making my bowl. One of the employees, Yoshi, explained everything to me regarding the menu. Food is good and is very proportionate to what you’re paying, fish is good quality as well.

I drive past 5 or 6 other poké places to come to ChaoDown. They have a wide variety of incredibly fresh fish, and the best selection of toppings I’ve ever seen. They are very friendly, patient if you are new to the process of building a Poké bowl, and I have never been disappointed by my meal.

Decided to order takeout here after a coworker dined in. Ordering online was easy enough, I arrived and my order was ready. I didn’t check accuracy which was probably a bad idea. When I got back and opened the bag, my wontons were not there. I also asked if there were utensils in the bag and they said yes but there weren’t any. So I paid for wontons and a bowl and only received a bowl but with my lunch break I didn’t have time to go back. The food was decent but the portions were small for the price. The place was clean which is a plus with fish places. I probably won’t be back

i’ve tried multiple of poke places in sacramento, and nothing compares to chaodown! it’s become my favorite place to grab lunch or dinner. the ingredients taste delicious and fresh! and they don’t charge extra for toppings also to mention the workers there are super friendly and sweet! always a good time coming here

We were visiting from out of town and really wanted Poke bowls for dinner. We thought we’d give Chowdown a try. Wow! Absolutely. The. BEST we’ve ever had. The fish was fresh, and they offered shrimp tempura as a protein choice. The sauces were tasty. We went there the night before Easter, and if they had been open, we would have eaten there again. Can’t wait until we travel through their area again, so we can have their Poke bowl again!

This place has by far the best poki in the area. I’ve been to like 4 of the local poki places and none even come close. The freshness of the fish, the topping choices, the sauces, the quantity, and the pricing. My only complaint is that I hope they get a nicer location maybe closer to my house so keep giving them business so they can afford to expand.
