First time for my husband and I to come here. It was just wonderful. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. The food was good, I didn’t care much for the egg roll, but I did like everything else. Our waitress was just wonderful. We loved her friendly smile and efficient style. 6-2-23 6:45 pm.

Chance is quite simply one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The egg drop soup was excellent and perfectly executed with a topping of fresh green onions. The fried brown rice is delightful and you would like to eat it all day long. The pineapple in the sweet and sour chicken is fresh and not from a can, all of the sauces are wonderful including the lemon vinaigrette on the table. I will always certainly stop by chance when I’m as in Cape Girardeau, highly recommend! Wonderful!

They had excellent food and service. My Mei Fun wasn’t super greasy like some places make it. The pork was good and roasted, not just pan cooked. They also have super cute origami money decor all over the restaurant.

We are not local from this area. We stopped there for lunch on our road trip. We always order our favorite regular Chinese food. But this time we saw picture of this Spicy Pork Intestine and it looked so yummy but we weren’t sure. We decided to try it anyway along with our other regular favorite items. First we were hesitated to try it because it didn’t look like it is fried (I forgot to ask waitress if it is fried or not). The answer is it was not fried. Oh man it was very spicy but so perfect for our taste. It was unexpectedly super delicious. I highly recommend it to you if you can handle spicy. We always order sweet and sour soup too but we didn’t like it here. It was too sweet and so yellow in color. That was our disappointment. But other food were great!

I enjoyed the food here. It’s not a strip mall kind of Chinese food. To me, some thought and preparation went into making the food. Now for the service, I will blame that on the personnel themselves. I understand it may be time for you to get off. However, don’t neglect your customers. Maybe they will get better in time as they get older. I would eat here again.

I hate to give bad reviews, but this is absolutely terrible food…I’m not sure how this place has good reviews at all and I don’t recommend it. We did a pick-up order of Cashew Chicken and Combination Fried Rice. The cashew chicken dish is not traditional, it appeared to be frozen Spanish rice with watery chicken-pot-pie filling poured on top, but it didn’t taste like it. There was no seasoning or flavor, but the smell was terrible—like the smell of plain boiled chicken in water while it’s cooking. There was no sauce. The chicken was so rubbery and weird looking that we thought it was mayonnaise…. There was supposed to be fried rice with it and it was a couple of tablespoons of stale Spanish rice that tasted burned. The combination fried rice had mostly chunks of ham in it…it was not combination fried rice, I’m not sure what that was. We had to just add it to the wonton soup for it to be edible. One star is for the egg roll…it was tasteless, but ok when dipped in the soup. That was the only thing I ate in the meal. This food is a waste of money.

My wife brought me here last year on our annual visit from Dallas. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. It taste fresh and gourmet. Could charge $15 or more for most dishes. Great food for cheap.
