$10 burger – small & tasteless. A lot of locals seem to be hanging around here, probably since the 80s. The place is outdated & shady.

Best Burgers around ! 1/3 lb. Fresh. Delicious. And the onion rings are good too!

The staff is amazing and it’s a cute space. However, the food was not good. The “specialty burger” came with cold and canned chilis, canned tomatoes, and not real flavor. The cheese curds were pretty good, but this is solidly a drinks and maybe apps kind of place.

The restaurant was packed, and they only had one waitress.

First time visiting since 2019 not impressed. 1 waitress for whole bar. She was working hard. Food however was for some reason was spicy. Shoe string fries were covered in orange powder. Cheese had jalapeños in it. Not everyone can eat spicy food. We had to go straight home and I’ve been in the bathroom ever since. Will not go back anytime soon.

Champs has a nice home town feel in a town that is increasingly becoming a marketing haven for startup restaurants. Food is prepared, by people who care, on an old school cook top. They don’t pretend to be anything other than what they are…a bar with food. I’ll eat there any day. Maybe not every day but the menu supports number of appetites.

We stopped in for a quick bite. Wanted to try the burger. Was a little disappointed . Not the best burger I’ve had. The service was great our server was working her last day. Told us she was getting married and moving to Louisiana . She was so sweet ,funny and friendly. Have to also say the cheese curds were pretty good.

Great food, just had to wait a long long time for service. Music was to load had a hard time talking. Parking was a problem but main street is under construction so in a year it should resolve itself.

We met some friends for dinner. My husband was in the mood for bar food. Everyone but me had a burger and they all thought they were pretty good. I had chicken strips and they were ok. Really couldn’t tell the difference between the fries and the chicken tenders. We had cowboy bites first and they were awesome. Friends had the southwestern eggrolls and we loved them too. Service is super slow but she was very friendly. I’m thinking it’s probably a good place to go for lunch.
