I was here to see the poverty point archaeological site. There is a dearth of good beer and places to eat in this area. I lucked into the golf course by mistake, when I went to the poverty point Reservoir instead by mistake! I was happy to find some very good Flying Tiger craft beer and had a delicious club at the club’s Bistro restaurant, the Tony ChaCha’s salt got poured a little heavily on the seasoned fries though, was easily fixed with the napkin LOL. Great View, nice place

This is really the only place to eat if you’re staying at the lodge. There are limited options for vegetarians except salad, grits and fries. We ordered “Cajun Pasta” thinking we would just avoid the shrimp. Unfortunately the dish was 95% cheese. Really, it was just melted cheese onto penne and shrimp. Grits also had cheese cooked in, which was not disclosed on the menu.

Beautiful facility & grounds. Booked for my mom’s 90th birthday celebration. We had 1 server for our 28 party group. She did a wonderful job. All the entrees were great.

Great place between 9th and 10th hole. Steak was spot on. Had to wait for the waitress, she didn’t have any tea made yet, otherwise it would have been solid all the way. During lunch, it’s a bit stuffy due to golfers in our the doors. Cold brew and snack i..e. chips trail mix etc

The dinner here is a MUST!! Cant say enough about how sweet and great the waitress were!! My waitress made me the best chocolate martini ever. I suggest making a reservation or you might not get to eat. The Cajun Pasta and the Shrimp and Grits is delicious!!!!

Had a 10:30 reservation arrived at 10:30 was told our table wouldnt be ready until 11:10. Didnt get our food until 12:30. Our table was literally falling down and had to be fixed by the waitress 3 times while we was eating. Food was not edible. 4 of us ordered the steak, hash browns, and eggs for brunch and the steak was cold on the inside and my plate was pooled in steak blood. Hashbrowns was like concrete cardboard and the eggs was raw when we specified well done. All while the waitress that was almost nonexistent our entire time there, collected quiet possibly $100 tip off our table from the forced 20%gratuity when she clearly didn’t earn any of the tip because of her attitude. Will never visit here again. Awful experience

My company had an anniversary lunch here. I ordered the Smokey Mountain Burger cooked medium. It was covered with a thin slice of ham , two crispy pieces of bacon and BBQ sauce between a brioche bun. I also had a side of mac and cheese with bacon bits. Very Delicious !!! Would recommend to anyone . Staff was very friendly . Very nice place to eat. I plan on bringing my family back soon.

A last minute lunch decision after visiting the Safari Wildlife Park and a good one indeed! Great loaded cheese fries and excellent burgers. Personal staff and a great experience overall. We will be back!

This is lovely place to eat. If you go for the brunch, be prepared to wait quite while for your food, but our family enjoyed our time together while we waited. The crab cakes were quite good, but the breakfast quiche was dry.

Very good food. Blacken catfish with shrimp sauce over rice was outstanding. Fire cracker shrimp and crab cakes for appetizers were good to share. Pork ribeye has a sweet sauce and glazed bacon that was very good but a little too sweet for our taste. Ribeye was a nice large flavorful steak but was cooked more than ordered. Don’t be in a hurry. There was time for conversation and laughter. Pricing is very fair considering quantity and quality of the food.
