A friend and I both ordered the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. AMAZING! Best pork tenderloin I’ve ever had. Incredibly juicy and tender, almost like a fish fillet. Life changing. Highly recommend!

Very nice little restaurant with a good food and beer selection. I had a pork tenderloin which was excellent. Friendly staff, and we enjoyed sitting on the back patio.

This is the first time for eating at the restaurant. My salad with grilled chicken was excellent and Ken’s burger and fries was also excellent. Des was a very efficient & friendly server.

What a great small pub with great atmosphere and food. Food prices are reasonable; the quality great. I had a hand breaded porkloin, and dont really know how to best describe it. The fries was great, the beer cold. Well worth a visit. O, remember the outside porch in the back!

Well…we used to love it …. 2 owners ago. We heard a new owner took over so we thought we would give it another chance. We waited a month or so to let the new owners settle in. Stopped in on a Saturday night around dinner time. 2 tables full. Cook was on his phone on the dining room. this place used to offer a great selection of craft beers on tap, this time half of them were out. We were going to eat but then decided to go somewhere else after we saw the filth on the floor, tables etc.. Please new owners….we have very limited options for food in Mt Vernon, make an effort and the community will support you.

Food was exactly what I was looking for, it was great. Atmosphere also good small town place. There was a group there spouting out some hate speech though without anyone stepping in. Talking about if 5 or so people get sniped then something would be taken care of, I won’t go into details but I was half way away from them in the place. I was the same distance from them as the person I’m assuming is the owner and nothing. Either he couldn’t hear the loudest group in the place or it’s so common he didn’t acknowledge it.

Snug and cozy bar with limited food menu serving drinks and beer on tap along with a sizable list of specialties and craft beer. Food was very good. I had the French dip on daily special and it was great.
