I remember stopping by this place once or twice as a kid, but you can say this was my first time here since. I know some die-hard fans of this local treasure may not like that I wasn’t too impressed with their tacos, but I did really enjoy their menudo. My wines a la Mexicana with cachetada of frijoles was a bit skimpy as well as the barbacoa. Tortillas were not as fresh as I had read about in other reviews . The star of the show was the flavorful menudo! I’d like to come back just for the wonderful service. From the lady at the counter and the old school ambiance, and give some other items a try.

teenage nostalgia
I wish I could say better things about this restaurant but I can’t. I went to have breakfast there and who I am assuming is the manager was yelling and putting down her employee right in front of the customers. not a good look. and she was being very rude and I felt bad for the employee. I would not eat somewhere where the manager and their employees are clearly not happy.
