Love this hole-in-the-wall spot!! Finally a place with decent prices and portions. I had the yellow curry and it was flavorful but not very spicy. I’ll have to go with the green curry next time and get it spicy. This is only to-go orders so don’t plan on sticking around. It had a constant flow of people who all seemed to be regulars. Can’t wait to try more on their menu!

Always good food, I’ve tried Thai food in many states and places and none compare. It’s super authentic flavors. Not that out of a jar flavor some places have. Friendly service and fast. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is clean and looks organized despite the building it’s in. Their prices are perfect, I feel like they deserve every penny. Almost every Friday I call Friday Thai day! As an excuse to come here and my husband doesn’t complain ha. Thank you for the great food!! Please don’t change a thing!!

Hands down the best Thai Food in the Salt Lake Valley. My only complaint is the location. I live on the West Side and they operate on the far East side of the Valley (Not their fault). It’s well worth the drive. I’ll continue being a patron but wish they’d open a location on the West Side (Pretty Please). Also I gave a low “Atmosphere” Rating as this is not a sit down restaurant.

The people who work here are lovely and friendly and helpful. The food is good. Best Thai close to me. I sure wish someone around here would put crab Rangoon on their menu tho!

Best Thai food in SLC!!! It is a take out only restaurant, absolutely no seating. But it is a clean kitchen with a friendly server. Absolutely try everything and definitely do not skip the coconut pudding. The larb salad was delicious in the lettuce wraps; The yellow curry was delicious; The pineapple fried rice with chicken was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

This has become my only fix for Thai food. The food is always great. I haven’t had a bad dish yet. The portions are big and always consistent. The yellow curry and pineapple fried rice are my go to. It’s an amazing value for someone like me who prefers take out!

We ordered door dash from ChaiYo tonight (4/20/23). It was okay I was really excited because of the high praise id read in other reviews, but the rice was under done, and almost crunchy, and they left an onion peel (not a slice, but the outer chewy rind of an onion) in my curry. The flavor of the curry was good though. Portions were small for 15$ an entre. I don’t think I’d order again.

Hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in Salt Lake. ChaiYo Thai Togo is in a funky spot off of Highland Dive (you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the place) and definitely a hidden gem. My party had a little of everything: Pad Gar Pow, Red Curry, and Pad See Ew noodles and we were all beyond satisfied with our meals. We all had medium spice and it was perfect. Not too hot and not too mild. We all had slightly runny noses at the conclusion of our meal. The Pad Gar Pow was flavorful and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The Pad See Ew noodles were delicious and the sauce was wonderful. They are very prompt. When you place the order they will give you a pickup time and it will be ready then. This place does not have any seating and it is takeout only. Prices are reasonable and I promise you will not be disappointed if you give this place a chance. We’ll be back for sure.
