We had the great pleasure to visit Chabelos last Saturday and let me tell you, we haven’t stop talking about not only the great food but the beautiful heart of the owners, Geraldine and Angelo. I had never tasted a dish called “Chancho al Cilindro” so Geraldine literally brought me into the kitchen and in the middle of a very busy day, she explained how they prepare this delicious dish – I believe they only serve this on weekends. Next, we tried the “Causa Envevichada” so incredible fresh and we finished with the most tender “Lomo Salatado” that was out of this world! Overall a wonderful experience can’t wait to go back.

If you are looking for the real peruvian breakfast experience, you need to came to this place and ask for “Desayuno Lurin” (Lurin Breakfast). Is a mix of fried sweet potatoes, onion and pork crisp, prepared in the usual peruvian way. You don’t be disappointed. The portion is really wide. So, 2 persons can eat from one plate. And gonna be enough. You can ask for the butifarras, sandwiches, coffee (peruvian coffee, not colombian or brazilian), and other dishes you can try. The access is easy and the parking is wide.

. I drive miles to get to the place where I had seen the comments on the internet and they were all favorable. I was not lucky . my food ( chabelos sanwich ) very bad taste like spoiled . I couldn’t eat it and still. Leaving completely and they charged to me . The girl’s treatment was pleasant but she charged me for something that I did not consume and had a bad taste. I thought to return in the future before that bad moment for me.But never more
