I was returning from some work and on the way I randomly came across this restaurant. I ordered Veg Thali . It was wonderfully cooked ,full of taste and freshly served. I loved their hospitality. The taste is so authentic that you feel in India. Would surely recommend. Great service.

Tried Chaat & More – Indian Cuisine for the 1st time tonight and OMG it was soo soo good! We love Indian food and try new places all the time but this one is Def. Our favorite now. MUST TRY! They are kind of off the beaten path in Springfield but def worth it. The guy is so nice! It was so much food we couldn’t even finish it. The portions are huge. It was super  delicious! Can’t wait to go back

We were returning from a long drive to Niagara.. And we’re craving some Indian food. This was perfect. The food tasted great.. Wasn’t too spicy and oily. Felt home cooked and fresh. We tried chole bhature, sarson saag, make roti, dal fry, and have no complaints but only praises. Only thing not nice was the jalebis which I kind of knew would be a miss as it’s almost impossible to find good jalebis in the US.

Tried Rava Masala Dosa. Dosa was super crisp and tasty Slightly off from genuine potato masala but it was tasty and felt super fresh. Chutney and Sambhar are average but better than most South Indian places. The owner is genuine and felt a warm vibe. Definitely one of the better Indian places in the entire DMV area

Amazing Chaat and equally amazing are the owners! If you’re really craving the Delhi Chaat then this is the place to go. We found this hole in the wall place by sheer chance and we were glad we did. The bhalla’s were soft and the yogurt and chutneys on top just the way I remember back in Delhi. The chaat was not artificially pumped up with tomatoes, onions or sev – just the way it’s served in Delhi. Very nice! We also had Golgappe, vada pav, samosa chaat and papdi chaar and each one was just as good as our first bite of the bhalla. We didn’t try any other food although the restaurant serves a full menu but if the chaats are any indication of the food, I can’t wait to go back and try other things too. I was chatting with Hemant the owner and he owned a food truck earlier and has recently opened this brick and mortar establishment. I’d highly recommend this place

We had food from here many times, I am a more of appetizers fan, so tried a lot different appetizers and they are always good especially Bhelpuri! Tried dosa too it’s good if you have South Indian food craving, not like sarvana bhawan but still good! The owner is really nice , the place is small but the decorations very well defines India!

Delicious chicken biryani loaded with chicken and palak paneer with plenty of tasty paneer and wonderful spicing! Same chef as before (when Saran Cafe) plus added non-vegetarian entrees! Also has vegan sweets. My photo does not show the generous cheese under the spinach. Just added a photo from portion from Farmer’s Market I snagged at restaurant.

The food is really good, they claim that they make the food fresh every day but that’s not true. I had ordered a dish and it was served extremely Spicy. I asked that it be made mild, they could not make it mild, because they gravy is premade in advance. I suspect they pre-make majority of the food and then just nuke it when ordered. I rather them not say it’s made fresh every day when it’s truly not fresh. Nice gentleman at the front desk, just disappointed that they claim to make fresh every day but don’t really make it fresh, otherwise every dish wouldn’t taste the same. Another customer same day said the food was spicy that day, when you are a regular and the food doesn’t taste similar you know it’s made in advance and not made to order.

Lovely Indian food for pickup and dine in. Had ordered the samosas for a school event and everyone loved them. My favorite here is the Jackfruit curry. Simply delicious. Would definitely recommend if you want good Indian food that is reasonably priced.

Small quick but or take out place snuggled in the Alexandria region of VA this is a good place for small groups and families. The food tastes authentic and quick service. We went for a evening chai and snack and it was a great satisfying experience.
