This was our second time eating here. It is a gourmet Mexican food restaurant. The food was decent. It wasn’t knock your socks off but was good. The service was top notch for sure. It’s one of the things that makes this place good. Oh and the Watermelon drink was amazing. The atmosphere was super chill. You have to get there early with no reservations because it gets packed

My first few times trying to visit this restaurant resulted in such a long wait that I ended up passing, but it was normal for a holiday (i.e. Cinco de Mayo). On a normal day, the wait was about 5-10 minutes for 2, if not immediately. I had this seafood soup thing and can’t remember it’s name. My finance had a Yucatan chicken entree. The food was unexpectedly good. The menu choices was just right in the amount of items offered, very straight forward. If you like a loud noisy atmosphere, then this place is for you. If you like repeating yourself to your partner who’s like 2 feet away, then this is the place for you. If you like talking loudly, but not being heard the first time, then this is for you. Oh, the chips and salsas were great too.

First time at Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen. We had dinner for a birthday celebration. Outdoor patio seating was nice. We had Carne Asada steak , Crab & Shrimp Enchiladas and Wood-oven Carnitas. The steak and enchiladas were excellent but my kids complained of how salty the carnitas were; I agree!

One of the few restaurants open on Easter in Downtown Brea. Extensive menu and our waiter is great. They offer virgin cocktails for any cocktail on the menu because they make all their flavors fresh every day! The meal was great. We had the chaquitos and 6 tacos. The chaquitos were a great balance of sauce, spicy to cool, and crunchy to soft with great flavor. We got 2 chicken, 2 carnita, and 2 short rib. My friend’s favorite was the chicken. It was very flavorful and tender. My favorite was the carnita. The pineapple salsa made it sweet and savory at the same time. I would have passed on the short rib if I had known. The goat cheese was overpowering, and with flour tortilla and softness of the short rib, it was too mushy for my taste. Our waiteress, Rachel, was amazing. Great smile, perfectly times checkins, and amazing recommendations!

I wouldn’t recommend the ceviche. Wasn’t really good. Calamari was super delicious! If you like spicy salsa ask for the habanero salsa. It’s pretty good. Service was okay. Wasn’t the best. A bit slow.

Cha cha’s never disappoints! Went for a birthday dinner and everyone loved their food! Their Monday date night deal is awesome!! The only thing we were underwhelmed by was the guacamole.

You’re going to go to Cha Chas many times. I will too. It’s a good spot. I do have to give some constructive criticism though- the TunaAguaChile needed more kick. Carnitas were very salty. Margarita drinks should clearly indicate the size and price. They don’t list the large glass and surprise you with a bill. On a positive note, wow the flan is the best I’ve ever had. Will get that again next time.

It was pouring outside on a Sunday night but that didn’t stop the crowds from coming to Cha Cha’s! They were busy but on top of things and seated us at our reservation time. The restaurant is large and they have an outdoor covered patio also. Our server was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed the fresh, complimentary chips and salsa with a large Margarita! Unfortunately two of our dishes were way too spicy, the Aquachiles and the sauce on the Chaquitos were so hot that we could not enjoy the flavor of the dishes. Overall fun and good but watch out for the spiciness!

Nice new spot. Good service. We had taco Tuesday tacos. Wasn’t really impressed with any of their meats. We also got the ceviche sampler. It was very good! Red salsa was impressive as well. Would like to see these restaurants over there open earlier.
