I was on a business trip and brought my family along to enjoy Nashville. We walked to this great place from our hotel. Once inside, the smell of smoke and BBQ filled the air and was very pleasant. I ordered the brisket plate with beans and Mac and WOW! The whole meal was melt-in-your-mouth. I will be back!

Stumbled across this place during Happy Hour (4 ribs, half chicken, OR chicken wings, with your choice of side and a drink). Great deal! Got dry rub ribs (a little salty, but the ribs were very juicy and delicious). Travis (bartender) recommend some great local beers that paired well.

Excellent. Truly a hidden gem at good ol Vandy!! Ppl were awesome, 1st rate bbq and quite a few add ons as you will see in the pics. Very, very clean. Kitchen was spotless. Restrooms were gender whatevers so no problem and spotless. Wow. super great. I cant wait to come back and try other stuff!!

A real Nashville BBQ spot! I can’t believe when we went in here it wasn’t crowded at all. I got a brisket plate with fries and the meat almost was like melt in your mouth. It was a little fatty but very tasty. The proportions of meat to fry ratio was very good. The service was amazing very quick and very friendly. The atmosphere was a sports bar feel, but also has dinning areas away from the bar. I will definitely make another trip to Central BBQ!

Service was excellent. Sausage was my favorite. I’ve been here a few times but I completely forgot how much I didn’t enjoy the Mac & cheese . The cheddar is over powering for sure. Bake beans have a smoked taste to them which was nice but I wouldn’t go back now that I remember. Check me if I’m wrong . But enjoy if not .

This restaurant is combined with a bar. The turkey was plain. It’s just right for me. There were few people but later people came and drunk at the bar. You can watch sports game too.

Nachos: cold. Pulled pork plate: warm enough. Fries: solid. Bartender couldn’t have cared any less that we existed though. Disappointing to say the least. Definitely wouldn’t come back, even for free food.

i would leave 5 stars but i think i’d rather play in traffic blindfolded during rush hour. bartender got my drink order wrong, nachos tasted like they’d been made the day before, and my pulled chicken plate was awful. like prison food awful. literally looked like the lunch all the kids hated in middle school.
