Finally checked out the new to Fayetteville, Central BBQ. We loved what they did with the old Farmer’s Co-Op. my wife and daughter got the pulled pork sandwich and I got the brisket nachos. It was all very good. A little pricey but good. The staff was super friendly. Will return again. My wife said the fries were really good and had that Memphis seasoning on them. Full bar is now open too!

Nice new BBQ restaurant in Fayetteville. Pulled pork sandwich was very good. Location is very nice and the covered outdoor patio is a great place to sit and relax. We went another time, and were disappointed by the nachos. The cheese tasted like nacho cheese from a can, not what I was expecting from them.

I love the location, right next to the bike trail. A great stop that will one day be hoppin’ when there are more businesses there. Casual vibe. Friendly staff. Some unusual items on the menu to try -portobellos, etc. Update: went a second time and want to add that the portion sizes are better than many bbq places, and I love the taco salad bowl! Haven’t seen that in years.

We went to central bbq for the first time the other day. You order at a counter when you first walk in. We paid $45 for two entrees and two sodas. I got the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese and fries with a side of ranch. They also asked me if I wanted a bun or a roll I chose bun but next time I’ll choose roll. The bun was just a basic cold bun. The Mac and cheese was not good it was cold and the noodle co consistency reminds me of kfc Mac and cheese. The pulled pork was delicious!! There was a lot of bbq sauce options and the ones we tried were good! The fries were good and seasoned well. The ranch is also really good. Tastes homemade. My spouse got the chopped brisket plate and he said the brisket was really good. For his sides he got Mac and cheese and baked beans. He agreed that the Mac and cheese was not good. But he said the baked beans were really good. The ladies at the front where you take your order were very friendly and helpful with the menu. One thing I did not care for it no one comes and checks on you to make sure you enjoyed your food or ask if you need anything. I had to walk up to the front to ask for something. I feel like if when you pay it’s going to prompt you to tip then you should get a little more attentive service.

I’m so glad to have Central BBQ in Fayetteville!! I LOVE Memphis style bbq. The ribs (not pictured because I already destroyed the delicious goodness) and Mac and cheese are INCREDIBLE. I went to the soft opening, and today I’m going back for more at the grand opening! This place is a perfect location- close to campus and very walkable to get to. Also, has great parking. Bring your friends and family! This is my favorite bbq in Fayetteville!! Also, I got this sweet hat!

I have been looking for a new place for BBQ and was excited to visit Central. I was disappointed right off the bat as we had to order right as we walked in and serve ourselves drinks and silverware. I am never really sure what to tip when I have to wait on myself. I choose the brisket and it was cook very well. However I was disappointed at how bland it was. Yes they have lots of sauces you can retrieve but I like BBQ because it is suppose to have a cooked in flavor. My portion was very good size. I had asked for a roll and when I inquired about butter from the bartender she stated they did not have any. I had to ask because no one came over to check on us until we were half finished with our meal. The store was almost empty so it was not like they were too busy. I guess my experience was very disappointing overall. I was hoping for a Sonny’s BBQ like experience and instead it was just lacking. None of this is to say do not go. It was fine I just had higher hopes.

I love eating at Central BBQ in Memphis and was looking forward to the visit here in Fayetteville. Ordering was done as you enter and was quick and easy from friendly folks. The layout is very relaxed, efficient and enjoyable. My food showed up before I could even find a seat which was amazing. I ordered pulled pork, potato salad and bbq beans. The sides were excellent, however I was really disappointed in the pulled pork. I didn’t taste like it was cooked on a smoker, no Smokey flavor at all. Maybe because they are so new? Service was very friendly and excellent. I will try again.
