Quaint little whole in the wall in the heart of La Mesa. The atmosphere reminded me of a cottage. The buffalo wings were a bit bland but after I added the Benji’s Holiday hot sauce they turned out fire! Took a little bit to get our food but our waitress was very nice. I ended up purchasing a bottle of that hot sauce before we left Will be returning soon!

Are you kidding?? We had the most satisfying experience here!! As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by a very comfortable homey vibe. We wanted to stop by for a quick brunch on Easter and they were open welcoming everyone with no wait. The food was great and reasonably priced. Turkey sausage is a always great to find at brunch. The service was incredible with several of the employees always willing to help and to make sure we were ok. It’s a family owned establishment and everyone was so kind. I can’t believe it’s taken so long to stop by. Plus $13 for a bottle of mimosa please you can’t get that these days! Even better crayons and coloring sheets for the kids, which seems to be a dying trend in restaurants these days. Thanks for keeping the small touches!

Breakfast was ok. Big portions. I really enjoyed their little patio because I stopped there unexpectedly and had my pup with me. I got coffee and I got him some whipped cream. I tried the pancakes and they were nice and buttery I also got some potatos which I wished had been more cooked but that’s just my personal preference.

I can’t believe I have never been here! Came here during Friday Farmers Market and wanted coffee.

The best menu in La Mesa!! This place is a hidden gem and the prices are 1/2 of what the rest of the village charges.

This place is great. The food was so good.. like unbelievably delicious. So I was in disbelief and came back the next day just to make sure it was as good as I remembered.. And guess what? It was better. Waitress was super nice as well. Thanks guys next time we are in town we will stop and eat for sure!

This place is truly a hidden gem. This is my second time in a row eating here. First day,I ordered fish and chips, it tasted amazing. Since it was so good, I came back for breakfast the next day. Service is wonderful, food tastes great! Come check out this spot and support small businesses!!!

Recommended and it was a perfect eggs Benedict and bloody Mary. Service was great by Adam who also made the cocktail. I would have given 5 stars bit was a tad cold, door open, winter weather.

Great food, non pretencious and easy, yet still nice. Kids meals where really well served and fancy.
