Very delicious food! I got the Agave Lime Shrimp Plate and it was sooo good. The wait time for seating and for food was long but we went on a Friday night at 5pm so it makes sense. This place constantly had a line to the door so you know it’s good! Will come again but earlier and not on a Friday.

Creative and quality food, extremely reasonable prices, personable and caring staff/owners…Cenote is one of a kind, and the best at their craft!!! I have NEVER been disappointed. Pictured is the chicken club burrito (my favorite!).

First time here and I’m definitely coming back. I ordered agave shrimp platter and it was delicious my friend also enjoyed their burrito. The service was excellent and they were fast for being busy.

We love Cenote, come once a week. It’s very small so it gets crowded, come early for whatever meal you’re planning to get a comfy booth. We love the queso dip, it’s so gooey and delicious. We split a fish taco plate, way too big to eat on your own. The shrimp burrito is really good too.

We first walked in, took maybe 20 minutes to get a table (Wednesday Night around 6 pm). We started off with a pitcher of Margarita. Then we ordered the Fresca Carne Asada Burrito (10/10), Cenote Burrito (had beans and rice but 6/10) and 2 Cheesesteak Burrito (7/10). Also got queso dip for an app, it was actually pretty good and 2 bowls of Poblano soup, super good as well. The food is an 11/10 but the kitchen just looks like a mess, I just watched The Bear on Hulu, the back of house craziness in that show reminded me of Cenote Grill.

This was the best little restaurant ! We were driving through town and found it, and boy are we glad we did! What a great deal on such quality food! We got chips and salsa for free while we read through the menu. We got the cilantro lime chicken salad, and oh my goodness it was good! It was also huge.

My husband and I decided to try this place after reading the reviews, and a recommendation from a friend. It’s a small restaurant with some outdoor seating and a few booths and tables. There are no waiters or waitresses to take your order. When we walked in and approached the front counter we were given menus and instructed to come back to the counter when we were ready to order. They brought us chips and two kinds of salsa. They were both good, but the chips were a bit on the thick side. I ordered the two item combination plate of the pork chili Relleno and the fish taco with Mexican rice and pinto beans. This is the first time for both of us trying this kind of chili Relleno. It is baked instead of fried. It was pretty good, but I guess we just prefer the traditional fried and stuffed with jack cheese type. I didn’t care for the rice. It was just too heavy with the spice’s for me, not in a hot spice way but just too overpowering. The beans were okay, but again we prefer the traditional refried beans. I don’t think we will be back. Service was good!

They need to hire a server that will take food and drink orders. You order food at the counter like a taco shop, and then a seperate server brings you drinks at you table. Good restaurant they just need to make some changes to how they serve their customers. But the food, atmosphere and everything else were good and worth trying for yourself.

The food is great. Service is good. But, you have to sit down or wait in line to order food. You sit down, look at the menu, make your choice, and then have to go wait in line to place your order. Or start in line and then find a seat. They have waiters. They should use them. Other than that, it’s a great spot. Also, they make the Chile Rellenos with hominy inside. Not a fan.

Quality of food very good. One of our family’s favorite Mexican restaurants in North County. My folks love the carne asada bowls and I recently had their California-style Burrito Fresca and loved it. Free chips and salsas with takeout orders
