DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC TOSTADAS! And I must say the red, warm salsa is INCREDIBLE!

I ordered the chicken tinga tostada with everything on it, & it was absolutely phenomenal!! Crispy tostada, with a thin layer of refried beans, juicy flavorful chicken, fresh shredded lettuce, crema & queso fresco. The rice and beans that come with the tostadas were heavenly, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Should I go on? Not sponsored, but I could write an essay on how delicious this meal was. At the first bite, I was transported back to Mexico where I first had this dish. Completely authentic cooking, & the atmosphere is accentuated with beautiful Mexican decorations and lively music. The service was wonderful, & we received our food within 10 minutes. I will definitely be coming back here again!

We visited here for lunch while on vacation. The menu was limited, but the options were all delicious! We tried the beef tostadas, chicken mole, and barbacoa plate. The food was authentic and tasted like my mom and madrina’s cooking! Everything was very flavorful, well seasoned, and came out pretty quick. Tortillas were home made and rice and refried beans were cooked to perfection. Both the red and green salsa were delicious and hot and spicy just the way I like! Great service and a clean nicely decorated establishment!

We are from out of town and they had Absolutely amazing food and amazing service! I had the chicken tostada and it was very flavorful with a thin layer of beans at the bottom and shredded chicken and a generous amount of lettuce topped with queso fresco and crema…the rice was fantastic and reminded me of home cooking from when I was a kid…the refried beans are to die for!!! The food looked just like the pictures on google if not better. The atmosphere was very welcoming, vibrant and made the overall experience well worth the price. I would definitely drive 4 hours just come back!

I am from Houston, but each time I am traveling south, I will go out of my way just to eat at Celsita’s. Food is like walking into your Abuelita’s house for some delicious home made food. It doesn’t get any better than that! Be sure to order the chips and salsa! Most restaurants give you free chips and salsa, but at Celsita’s, the chips are made to order and the salsa is sooooo good! A definitely must try! This time around, I had the progresso tacos! Brought me back in time when I ate these as a kid.

Wow wow wow This is the best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. I ordered chips and guacamole and Enmoladas. They make everything from scratch, including their chips, and it was all so good. Beans and rice were popping with flavor. Mole sauce was amazing. Bright welcoming colors and thoughtful decor inside and out with Mexican tile tables crafted by the owner herself! I wish they had a location in the hill country! I look forward to my next beach trip 🙂

Nice addition to the Mexican food options on North Padre Island. Counter service, daily menu posted on the whiteboard. Food runners deliver your order to your table. I had the Chicken Mole, which was delicious. A very tender chicken breast & thigh is covered in Mole sauce served with rice and beans. There are about 12-15 entree choices daily. Frozen margaritas and more available from the bar.
