Beautiful place, love they kept the Church architecture. Ambiance is very peaceful. Good food. Except for the appetizers, we ordered fried calamari, and it was a very small service. I just ate one piece to let my daughter have a few bites. There were good but very small portion. My fish was a little too dark and too crispy/hard to bite, good taste.

I had a lovely lavender margarita. Of course l loved the building. The owners did a great job with managing the sound in the building. It was partitioned well so the acoustics didn’t make you feel like you were in a big echo chamber; it was big but intimate at the same time. There is a very nice gift shop on site offering appropriate items for sale – logo wear, Wisconsin items, and items with a sense of humor about the religious beginnings of the building. I will definitely return to try food soon.

Good food in a beautiful and unique location! We sat on the outside patio and it was lovely. The server was friendly and they were careful with my shellfish allergy. We had the cheese curds, pesto salmon salad, and lemon capered sea bass; would recommend all of them. The pear mojito was also tasty.

We stopped in for our anniversary. You can view the menu by scanning a QR code, which is way cool. The truffle cheese curds were amazing and extremely flavorful. They paired nicely with the Mummy Moscato. We had the deconstructed ravioli and the Bang Bang Shrimp. The Bang Bang Shrimp is different than other restaurants and a step up (in my opinion). We also ordered soup and it was tasty, but we’ll skip it on the next trip — so many leftovers as portion sizes were huge.

We decided to try The Cellar District for a change from the typical and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in an old church which they renovated beautifully while keeping original features. The food was delicious and presented well, the portions were great, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to try more.

Stopped here on a whim when looking for unique dining experiences in the area. This place did not disappoint. Too many delicious menu options to choose from. Ambience was unbelievable. Beautiful bar. Great kid friendly menu options and two large bookshelves filled with kid activities and games. Can’t wait to visit again!

Third time visiting. It’s our go to spot when in Fondy. Their Jameson Smash Burger and the truffle cheese curds are two solid options. The burger has a crispy outside that is delightful. Laidback team that makes you feel welcome and reasonable prices for the quality of food and experience.

Great atmosphere, good service, but sub-par food everytime. Had the Shrimp Bang Bang and the shrimp was tiny, rice mushy. I am 1 for 4 at this place.
