Stopped in on a Friday afternoon in Lebanon, Ky and had a delicious meal at Cedarwood Restaurant. A special small town and well known restaurant in this town..since 1959. Our waitress, Lizzy, was friendly and helpful. An overall delightful experience. I recommend this place if you’re ever in the area!

Good food but a little too dirty!! Not sure who the inspector is in this town but he should be fired! This is the third restaurant around here that was very dirty. I usually don’t comment about cleanliness unless it’s extremely obvious because if the place is busy it’s hard to keep up daily but I do expect it to look like it was cleaned regularly.

Wonderful service and the food was amazing! Some of the reviews had me a bit nervous but I’m SOOO glad I decided to try it for myself! The fried pork chops weren’t dry and were thick! Don’t let the picture fool you, they weren’t small! My husband enjoyed his shrimp and fries! He said the fries were the best he’s ever had in a restaurant! So delicious! We will definitely be back! Great down home kinda food!

We had a group of us on motorcycles and stopped in. Our waitress (Lizzie Daughtry) gave us great service, the cook whomever they were did an awesome job, food was fabulous and it was reasonably priced, also gives a military discount

Just a simple, mom-and-pop restaurant. The menu had a good selection but was extensive. We started with cheesy fries. They were just OK. I thought the menu said they were covered with chili and cheese, but they only had cheese and bacon pieces. I’m pretty sure they cooked the fries put them in the little basket, sprinkled the cheese and bacon, and then nuked it all. The fries had that microwaved fry taste (just slightly). I had the pork tenderloin for my entree with mashed potatoes (with brown gravy) and green beans for sides. The pork was good but not great. It was thinly sliced and on the verge of being dry. Luckily, there was enough “juice” in the plate to keep it from being too dry. The potatoes and beans were both really good. It also came with either Texas toast or cornbread (the flat style…we call ’em hoecakes). I opted for the hoecakes, and they were really good. The service was friendly and the prices were decent. It is worth a return visit. (Sorry about the pictures. I didn’t think about taking them until we were nearly done.

The food was such a disappointment. My husband had biscuits and gravy. Gravy was a mix, blah. Biscuits were hard on the bottom. I had french toast with bacon. I have to say it was the worst I have ever had. I ask for crispy bacon and the waitress did write it that way but it was anything but crispy. Neither my husband’s bacon or mine were crispy. It was barely done. We also ordered a cinnamon roll. Cinnamon was burnt, over cooked roll on the outside but still doughy in the middle. We won’t be back. They need new ovens or a grill or maybe a new cook. I just remembered, my knife and fork were dirty, I had to ask for clean ones. So maybe a new dishwasher is needed too.

Halee was super sweet to the guest’s. The classic breakfast smells hit you when you walk in the door. Great breakfast. Added a little sausage patty to the pepper gravy and their over easy eggs were the perfect temperature. Their hash brown were great loaded with everything they had topped with cheese and a little ham. The coffee was a real treat and my cup never stayed unfilled and hot!
