We got married 05/21/23 and we had Cecil cater our reception. Our reception was sweet and simple. We ordered 30+ pizza, salad, and white pasta. Everyone raved about the food and more than month later I have guest still talking about it, half my guest never ate Cecil’s but said that will be their go to place now on. They did amazing. So good.

I actually love this place. The food is always great and the staff is always nice. They always take good care of me. The bathrooms are kinda old, but I get the feeling this place caters to the take out crowd. Anyway, I love the salad, wings, and the pizza.

The wife and I left work and tried to call probably 15 times an hour and a half before they was supposed to close at 10. After not getting any answer my wife drove over to the store and arrived at about 9:20. As she got out of her car a lady ran over and locked the door, so my wife knocked the lady came out and said sorry we just closed, she said well I have been trying to call for the last 45 minutes and she said oh well we actually closed earlier. It’s amazing how lazy people are now days.

I had the broccoli con pasta. Sorry I forgot to take a picture. It comes with shells pasta creamy sauce with mushrooms and broccoli. No meat, but I forgot to ask if I could add some. It was very creamy without being drowned or mushy. The broccoli was still tender too. I hate mushy veggies. The mushrooms were minimal and didn’t take over the dish. I asked what the best dish was and want disappointed. This place has been around for a reason. Great place and great staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve been trying to order from this place for a week but can’t get anyone to answer the phone. When I tried to order online it says they aren’t accepting orders. I always try to call them at least an hour and a half before they close as well so I’m not placing any last minute orders and they still do not answer the phone. I have never seen a restaurant try so hard to not make money. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is a mixed review because I do love the food there. I order there pizza, ravioli and even their burger quite often. The last couple times I ordered the burger it was not delivered as ordered and when I called to let them know all that I was offered was an apology. Last night my wife called to order pizza and was put on hold for almost 8 minutes before she hung up. I then called back and was on hold for 7 minutes before I then got in my car and drove there… on hold the whole time. When I walked in there was no one on the phone. I walked up to the counter and asked why they weren’t taking orders over the phone ( with my phone in hand and still on hold). I was told that they were taking phone orders but they were super busy. I then asked to speak to a manager. The young man that I was directed to told me that he didn’t have time to “deal” with call in orders. I then pointed out that I was actually still on hold and that if he doesn’t have time to deal with call in orders he should tell people that instead of putting them on hold and leaving them there. The only response I got then was him asking if I wanted to order something. That is unacceptable customer service in my opinion. I would love to continue to order from them but the customer service has to change.

Owner and wait staff have always taken exceptional care of us. Recently we called ahead asking for seating of 16 people. They suggested we order ahead. When we walked in the door our table was prepped and they immediately began serving our appetizers and drinks. The pizzas came out shortly later. The entire restaurant staff was very attentive all evening without being overbearing or intrusive to our group. No fuss flawless evening. Thank you CWP!!
