It was definitely good. Quality ingredients and quick service! Big fan of the Pita chips. Very nice, modern aesthetic that compliments most of the places in this plaza. Pretty open floor plan, so probably not best for a serious business meeting, but definitely a great option for a clean meal that’s pretty quick!

I absolutely love Greek/Mediterranean food, and had been very excited to try this place. For my first visit, I went with the “build your own bowl” option, and it was amazing. I got the saffron Jasmine rice, with spicy lamb meatballs & sweet potatoes (half & half for the main protein), plus lots of veggies, dips, and sauces. Everything was so good, and I loved it so much I’d get the exact same things again. There was one particular staff member (manager I’m assuming) who was very nice and helpful and made sure we got all the dips & sauces and everything we wanted to try. Oh yeah, we also shared some of the pita chips with crazy feta dip, and that was super good too. I got the cucumber mint lime juice, and it was very good, a nice compliment to my somewhat-spicy bowl. I had 1 refill in-store, and 1 more refill to-go, and I rarely finish a drink like that while still eating. Will definitely add this place to my list of favorites!

My sister raves about CAVA after having it up north. We knew it was new to Tallahassee so we waited a bit before ordering. The ordering process was fine, food was ready (almost) on time. What disappointed us most was the portion size as you can see here. The bowls were all below the fill line and not NEARLY what was advertised on their website. The extra sides of sauce we’re barely half full (pictured here) and we’re over $3 EACH. We were also missing pita with all three of our bowl orders. We gave it a fair shot, but I’m afraid to say this place will probably not make it very long, especially in a college town in this economy. I also want to note I work in marketing, so I understand the importance of a fair review after giving a business ample opportunity to impress me. However, I don’t think I would want to give this another change based on the amount of money we spent for a family order and how little food we received. We were excited to try it but ended up thoroughly disappointed. Think twice before spending money here, especially if you have an appetite aka not enough food. CAVA, please consider these reviews if you want remain in business here in Tallahassee.

It’s always a hit or miss with Cava which I hate because when it’s a hit, it’s a hit and when it’s a miss, it’s not even in the same ballpark. I used to order in store at least twice a week and loved it. Taste was great, portions great and loved the selection of gluten free items, as I have celiac disease and I’m very limited in where I can eat. But lately, I’d say 4/5 times my order is incorrect, there is an ingredient or ingredients missing and the portions are very small. I order in store and through their app and like I said, it’s a 50/50 chance something is going to be wrong. Will not return for awhile. Not until they get their kinks worked out. Best of luck!

Well, the bowl wasn’t sealed fully when it was delivered to me. So that’s not great. But the live fly crawling around inside it was extra not great.

Service: awful; Food: edible, not enjoyable; Ambiance: disturbing. The staff has obviously been left without any guidance or instruction on how to be a decent worker, the food was so tossed into a jumbled mess it resembled vomit, and the people on the patio, granted no fault of the absent management, included two women talking with every other word the F bomb, the couple with the cat sitting in the sun in some sort of bubble and the person shouting at the air and screaming at God. I will never again … frankly, my stomach hurts and all I was hoping for was an enjoyable lunch.

Great service by All three staff members. I asked how much for additional protein. Alexis and Christina gladly helped to chk and share the cost up front before I ordered. They also asked me if I wanted to try out the new vinegarette. All in all, a pleasure experience and yummy food. The manager came out to ask in courtyard if everything was good. Thank you to the whole staff!

I drive from Thomasville just to get Cava and it’s worth it every time. The staff is always so nice, service is fast and attentive, and the food is amazing. I’m also a vegan and living in a small town such as Thomasville, I struggle to find quick to-go healthy food that accommodates my diet. But like I said, making the drive to Cava is always worth it. They also have super cool house-made drinks, I get the cucumber mint lime every single time!! My boyfriend loves the blueberry lavender!! Cava is a 10/10, you MUST try if you’re a vegan in the area, if you love mediterranean, or if you’re on the market for something fresh, healthy, and new!!

Literally the BEST restaurant and food in Tallahassee! Healthy, fresh and delicious. Amazing falafel and sauces. I am gluten free and everything on the menu is gluten free except the Pita and one other item!!! They have an extensive beverage bar with organic colas and teas. SO GOOD…. Seriously must try.

Pretty disappointed with my overall experience for my first time.
