You don’t get as much food on your plate as some Asian restaurants but it was very good . Lately , we’ve been comparing shrimp with lobster sauce around town at different Asian restaurants . This number 1 for flavor so far , however not number one in the amount or size of shrimp they give you . Personally , I’m into the size , amount , and quality of shrimp on my plate , Very tasty , however . (Didn’t care for the tiny shrimp in my rice or the pink color on my rice. )Atmosphere was lovely but could have been friendlier . Also , feed your fish so it doesn’t want to eat my hair . I asked the name of the fish , the girl said he didn’t have a name . They call it red devil . Gee, how nice . Name your fish for God’s sake . How rude .

3.5 stars . Pretty average on all counts . Reasonable prices ,service was good. Old fashion Chinese restaurant. I would go back , but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there . Food was average.

Seems like the portions are smaller since Cathay Imperial took over Cathay Inn & I’ve never liked their rice even when it was Cathay Inn. The lady at the to go register told me that the cook for Cathay Inn bought the restaurant & renamed it Cathay Imperial. Staff is always super friendly.

Very accommodating with special food preparation requests. The most negative thing I can say is they’re closed on Sunday and Monday, the 2 days I really want it…lol. But the staff is friendly and the food is fresh and good.

Food was fresh and delightful. A very fun place to have lunch. Staff was helpful and friendly. This place has been here a long time so it’s definitely worth giving them a chance. My order was chicken lo mein, an egg roll, and shrimp fried rice, and a Dr. Pepper.

Lunch is usually pretty good. Unfortunately they’re cheap on the wong tong chips for the soups. It’s extra if you want more. I recommend the moo goo. Very tasty and healthy.
