I’ve been a customer for a few years. As a black business it’s a disservice to the underrepresented community to be late opening or don’t open at all. Arriving whenever you want and look as if you the customer is wrong for having expectations. I waste my lunch time waiting for the owner to show up to learn she was sitting in her car next to me on the phone for 20 min. when I could’ve spent my time and money elsewhere. The food is okay, but not great. The restaurant is so uninviting, dusty and smells weird. I like to support black business, but this is the stereotypical behavior we try to eliminate! This is not a good representation of black businesses. So unfortunate a lot of missed opportunities. If the owner doesn’t care.. why support?

Catfish where? Not Here! Bland seasoning not the taste I expected from a place called Catfish Willy’s . I was expecting Cajun, home cooked food. That’s not what I got. Other dishes might be better but I won’t try the catfish again. Only reason l gave 2 stars is because customer service was pretty good and the iced tea was freshly made

The food was hot and fresh. The cornmeal coating was too crumbly and the presentation was not favorable. But I will say, the person waiting on me was friendly and brought the meal to my car. Good but definitely great.

I’ve been going here for almost 20 years. The fish is always crunchy and crispy like I like it. They use cornmeal like at the house. It’s always seasoned, not too salty not to bland. I go back ever so often when it’s open. This is the best fried fish outside of my own kitchen. Pappadeaux needs to buy her recipe.

Owner needs to have better customer service. Menu on website states certain meals comes with drinks. I specifically ordered a kids meal just to get a drink which the menu says I could get one…. just to hear ,” no drink comes with kids meals!” Definitely too high for the quality of food! I will never return. Everything has to be ordered separately. To the owner and or worker that was in there when I came… fix your attitude because I’m spending MY money here.

I tried this place cause I saw it listed as a BOB and the reviews were good. I walked in and ordered and there was a 25-30 min wait (I should have called ahead). I ordered the special with the filet & 3 shrimp. I ordered the 3 filets for my mom. My filet was very small but all 3 of my mom’s were a nice size. ☹ I requested gumbo and peach cobbler but neither were available. The swamp water (cherry lemonade) was good. I wish it came in a larger size. The service & food was good and I would definitely return.
