Catfish Haven is everything you expect from a Southern catfish house. The pieces are strips, so I recommend ordering at least one more piece than you ordinarily would or get the all you can eat. Everything is reasonably priced. Today’s special was a country fried ribeye. I will try that next time. The coleslaw, catfish, and hush puppies were very tasty. Seating was immediate and the restaurant is located away from the downtown crowds, so easy parking.

We went to catfish haven yesterday and I have been trying to figure out something positive about this place. We walked in and thought that the atmosphere was nice. Our waitress came up to us and acted like she had no idea what she was doing. When asked, what’s good, she said and I quote I don’t know. I don’t like seafood. Sorry, what was that? Didn’t even make it away from the door!! Tons of tables open waited for 15 mins, the manger came said we would be seated soon and asked how many people (4 of us). Waited about another 10 mins, went up to her and asked if we were still being waited to be seated cause there was tons of tables for us 4. She said we are waiting cause of the big tables (which was only one). I asked how much longer she said about 5 or 10 more mins I said do you think we need to go someone else, she says yes you can go somewhere else. SHE DOESNT NEED TO BE THERE IF SHE HATES HER JOB THAT MUCH!!

Had a perfectly seasoned steak and they let me sub some cat fish so I could try it was also great. Had a new gal working who was a real sweetheart. Wish I lived there would be my regular spot! For sure can’t beat the prices wow!
