Overall, definitely a place I’d go back, but definitely understand the frustrations seem in some of the reviews.

Very welcoming from the moment I walked in, Marcus was a great attentive host! I started out with trying the fried corn, and it was surprisingly delicious. Then I did the half and half with shrimp and red snapper. Everything was fresh and right out the fryer! Definitely highly recommended to get a seafood fix!

I was extremely excited to visit this restaurant, because it came highly recommended and the food looked delicious on line. We arrived on Sunday at 3:00 pm, the restaurant is easily accessible, with plenty of parking. The restaurant is decorated in a cozy beach/ocean theme with a seating capacity 81. There were three televisions playing a Justice League Cartoon, vintage Soul Train and a Spike Lee Movie. There were both booths and tables, high top stool seating is also available. The restaurant does a very impressive impressive take out business, there was a line almost the whole time we see there. The menu is fairly basic, baskets run $21.99 to $92.99. The most expensive menu item is called Noah’s Ark and cost $249.00. The meal comes with 2 lobster tails, 2 Dungeness crab clusters, 1/2 lb king crab, 1/2 lb crawfish, six shrimp, corn, coleslaw, Hushpuppies and a side. We each had the Honey Butter Crab basket, which cost $59.99. It comes with 2 Dungeness crab clusters, six shrimp, 1 side, Hushpuppies, 3 corn, coleslaw, cocktail sauce and a lime. They forgot my coleslaw, cocktail sauce, Hushpuppies and lime. Although I did ask for and received the cocktail sauce. I chose a side of fries and the whole basket comes deep fried and saturated in honey butter. It was delicious, and different than any seafood that I’d ever eaten. The entire meal is very rich and indulgent, not for the health conscious! Sides are fries, sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, loaded potatoes, onion rings and potato salad. The menu also offers starters, kids meals; and the only beverages are Pepsi and Kool aid. Although it’s not on the menu, a small chocolate lava cake is also offered. I really wanted to try the seafood gumbo, $29.99, it comes with rice. They were out of gumbo and the loaded potatoes. A drink menu boasts beer and cocktails. On the back of the menu is the menu for Vanilla Rice’s Hibachi House, which we were told was just outside the door. The waitstaff was friendly enough and the bathroom was clean and smelled of coconut. I rate the experience, as a whole, 3 1/2 stars.

We got the catfish 3 piece it was fried perfectly amazing. The 8pc jumbo shrimp was kicking like the season, last but not least the cat fish sandwich my girlfriend she gave it a 7 out of 10. The tarter sauce hitting. All in all I’ll be back to try my…Vegas Local

The food was blah, and the service was extremely slow. We ordered the “famous fried corn,” popcorn shrimp, the stuffed mashed potatoe bowl, and a fried fish basket with red fish.

The staff were very personable and respectful. There weren’t many customers when I went on a Saturday afternoon. So service should be fairly quick. I specifically ordered the beer battered fish and added the jumbo shrimp for an up charge and the food was just good. Nothing really stood out. I would definitely encourage others to give it a try and the price point was reasonable but it gave me “Captain D’s” vibes. If you don’t know what that is, think of this restaurant as a step and a half up from “Long John Silvers”. But overall it’s a great restaurant. My favorite thing about the restaurant was the music.

This food was great!! I had the cat fish tacos and they have a twist I still can’t explain. They don’t have small plates and only limited appetizers, so be prepared to spend $30/person. But from what I had, it’s really worth it.
