This wine is Bold and full-bodied on the palate and offers flavors of dark cherry and cassis with subtle mocha and truffle nuances. A firm but smooth texture of pure blackberry fruit and coffee brings this balanced wine a well-rounded finish backed by a great tannin structure

First of, the restaurant host / manager and the staff were amazing. Friendly and met you with a smile and willing to move things around to accommodate you! Once seated, I was greeted with complementary champagne and spoon of caviar (delicious)! I ordered the fried calamari (must try) and for the main course Halibut crusted with almond and rice. Finished with crème brûlée!

We went here for lunch last week and ordered everything vegetarian! Strange for a place like Catch, but the food was awesome!

This place was cool, we really liked the location, decor, staff, manager, and most of all, the food. The champagne and caviar was a nice touch, and it was complimentary. We chose fish and chips and fish tacos for a light lunch, we were we not disappointed. The tacos were very tasty. As a matter of fact, everything on the plate was. I had the fish and chips, and I loved it. It was not your regular greasy battered fish ànd soggy fries. It was a cut above! My compliments to the chef. Thanks to management and staff for a great experience.

We came here for food since we went to Carmel beach and it was on the strip next to the beach. The food was honestly just okay but it’s not like it was bad. And it’s kind of what I expected from beachside restaurants. The dishes were quite expensive and the service was pretty slow.

The dinner was a ritual. It starts with a complimentary shot of champagne and a spoon of “colored black” caviar. Theme interior, beautiful wall mural; experienced staff, welcoming but not overwhelming. Music is neutral, so it is possible to have a conversation. We were here for lunch a month ago and came back for dinner. My favorite dish is Halibut with Mashed Potatoes. Soups are very good and other dishes are worth trying. To close the ritual we got a complimentary dessert. Decent experience. Lux and simple.

Delicious and quaint atmosphere. We had the pawn appetizer, clam chowder, salmon and prawn linguine. Everything was excellent.

Atmosphere and place was very nice and the waiter was very kind. Unfortunately, i was very disappointed with the food. The linguine di Mare no flavor at all, and the prawns pasta a la creme, extremely salty. My husband ordered fried calamari steak and he had to add lots of lemon to bring it to taste. The waiter was kind and understood my frustration bringing us a balaclava and cappuccino, which was good, but we wouldn’t come back. We saw reviews and we think it was not our day.

Excellent food, good service, but they ADD a 3-1/2% surcharge when you use your credit card. Better restaurants NEVER do this. Many people will reduce the tip by the same percentage at restaurants that have this practice. I hate to punish the server for a bad management decision, but if the restaurant can add an additional fee, I can subtract the additional fee. A restaurant has many expenses; the credit card merchant fee is one of those expenses. That cost should simply be “baked in” to what they charge. They have excellent seafood. The non-alcoholic beverages come in a very small glass.

Catch was an incredible seafood experience. To start, we sat down end enjoyed a small spoonful of caviar and a short glass of schnapps on the house. We all enjoyed seafood dishes, but they did have some land-based entrees as well. I ordered their salmon, but I found their prawn pasta to be the best tasting out of the entrees that were ordered in our group. Their drinks were so good too, I highly recommend ordering the William Tell, even if you’re not much of a bourbon drinker, it’s so smooth.

Food was just okay. The free bread at the beginning was a highlight. I got the vegetable panino which was okay, though I wish they seasoned the avocado a little more. Even adding a little more salt would have made a big difference. The fries that came with it were pretty good.
