I sat at the bar with Renae who is amazing and I ordered the T-Bone with mashed potatoes. It was so good! Shakira the kitchen manager did an excellent job! I love this place and will continue to come back!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, the best shrimp & grits I have ever had. Definitely a must try. This dish fully immersed me in cuisine rather than just flavorful cooking. Great job to the chef. Really enjoyed the soft classical music, I saw an earlier review about explicit rap music being played. I’m glad they took that improvement into consideration.

Crab dip was a basic cream with no obvious crab and smothered in another cheese served with stale tortilla chips instead of pita bread. Brussel sprouts were drowned in balsamic. Fried lobster tail was enjoyed. Service was very polite.

Had wanted to try this place for a while now. Finally took a date here on NYE, walked in and was greeted by a friendly host who told us to sit anywhere we like. Immediately I noticed the louder-than-expected rap music coming from the restaurant speakers overhead. I listen to all kinds of music, including rap, however the restaurant was beautiful on the inside and comes off as a casual fine dining establishment. The rap music just didn’t fit. We sat at a table and must have been under a speaker, because it just seemed loud. It would have been difficult to maintain a casual conversation at the table, it was so loud. Also, the music was straight unedited trap music. Nothing says a romantic high end meal like the F-bomb and other colorful language being played throughout the entire place. We quickly changed seats to sit at the counter where we could watch the kitchen and that was perfect. There was no speaker overhead, the kitchen staff engaged with us, and immediately I felt better about the night. The server, Paris, was absolutely wonderful. Super friendly and fast, all smiles, and helpful. The food was cooked to absolute perfection. I had the salmon and it was perfectly tender, juicy, and flaked easily with the pull of the fork. My date had the lamb special and it, too, was just perfectly seasoned and cooked. We were so happy with the food and service and it ended up being a great night. I just wouldn’t suggest taking a date or a business meal there as the music was just too much.

Went there for brunch and wasn’t gonna leave a review because the person I went with lives in the building but my experience bothered me. Aside from us there was a party of about 2 or 3, packing up to leave and that was it. No one else was dining at the time yet it took our server Patrick about 10 minutes to great us. He took so long that we looked the menu up online. While greeting us he took his hand to wipe food off the table next to us with a few strokes, brushing the food on the ground. I was appalled. He did this all while greeting us, didn’t even bother to come to the table and formally introduce himself. From there I ordered a mimosa. He took 10 minutes to bring water and left no straw so we couldn’t drink. By this time 25 minutes have passed, no straw to drink the water, no food ordered, and yet he got upset when I asked him for my mimosa. Keep in mind that we were now the ONLY table there. One person came to the bar for a food pickup but that was it. He was more concerned about ending his shift, which he expressed numerous times, due to being annoyed because we asked for a straws and then my mimosa. His demeanor and words of expression wasn’t great at all for a Sunday morning. His manners wasn’t pleasant at all and Patrick made our brunch uncomfortable as if we were begging for his service. His attitude shifted when he recognized my date from living in the building (wondering why he hasn’t seen them in a while.. yet to me it’s quite obvious). I’m in the industry so I love auto gratuity but with the guarantee of

I arranged a girl’s night dinner here and it was just ok. The first issue arose with valet not being available then when they did show up, the service was terrible and the guy was attempting to “charge” people though parking is free for restaurant patrons (thankfully the manager handled that later). Once in the restaurant, our server was ok. She was initially very attentive but then began slacking as the evening went on. I think she had one other large table but it seems like we kept getting left for long periods of time. The drinks were decent though they should stop putting raw fruit into the drink without asking first…it waa a mushed mess in two of the ladies beverages. The food came out pretty quick but most was subpar. The “truffle” fries had a spritz of truffle oil but lacked elements to make them truly truffle fries and we’d all had better, the brussel sprouts were overcooked, the mac and cheese was soupy, the oysters Rockefeller shells were crumbled in the sauce, the mussels were a little salty, the fried sushi lacked all flavor, the lamb chops needed chimichurri or something…definitely not what we were expecting. Once we finished our meals and the waitress finally came back, she tried to keep our bill together and tell us we were wrong despite what the website and menu said (we had 5 people, not 6). When she did separate it, she kept the 20% “service fee” even for those whose bill did not come up to $100 and didn’t take off the items that were sent back to the kitchen. We were tired of waiting for her to come back at that point and just paid to leave.

The food at Catch 12 was ok. It wasn’t bad but it did not wow me. The portions are nice sized. Some main dishes are a la cart. I had the T-bone and had to order a side separately. I didn’t like they they used the whole stalk of asparagus. Sorry no pics. I came for a business dinner.

We had reservations 2 weeks ahead of time. We experienced very slow service due to understaffing and the food was mediocre at best. Some in our group of 14 were served their lunch 20 minutes after others and one never got their lunch. Due to the size of our group, the standard 20% tip was automatically added to our bill.

Made a reservation for Valentines day. Got all cute and dressed up just to arrive and be told that my reservation wasn’t valid due to a private event. I explained I booked days ahead and received a confirmation that my booking was complete.
