Our party of 4 went to Catch 109 on Thursday evening in mid August around 5:15 pm for dinner. We didn’t wait for a table and the atmosphere was excellent: refined, yet subtle and rustic. The decor is tasteful and nautical, the waitstaff was excellent. We dined in the dining area, not the bar. There was one family with small children eating as well, and their kids were impeccably behaved. The mood was phenomenal—not overly fancy but definitely not a normal bar and grill either. Cocktail dresses would be apropos but sun dresses and dainty flip-flops are too. The food was amazing!! We had the honey pecan shrimp, crab cakes, and swordfish. All 3 were delectable! The crab cakes were huge; and the lemon-hinted wilted greens and rice with a flavorful aioli which accompanied them were a delightful addition! It was an excellent meal and we will definitely be back!! I highly recommend Catch 109!

I went here on National Margarita Day hoping to enjoy a dinner and a margarita. This place fell short on a levels. When we first arrived we ordered our margaritas. Regular, peach and pineapple. I’m not sure what mix or tequila they use but it was way way way too sweet and not nearly enough tequila. So I ordered a shot of the tequila to add to mine and it was like a pre mixed shot and they charged me the the full price of shot!

We ended up here after our target restaurant wasn’t open (despite their website saying they would be). Boy, did we luck out! It was the best meal I have had in many years. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely phenomenal. Oysters Rockefeller is the perfect starter. Fresh fish/seafood up and down the menu. Excellent atmosphere and quality staff. My parents just bought their vacation home in Morehead City and Catch 109 has already become a staple for dinner with family and friends.

Our experience was phenomenal. Bartender was super sweet, my spicy margarita was sooo good I ended up ordering another one, our food was delicious. This was by far the best meal we have had out in a loooong time. We will definitely be returning 🙂

I find it difficult to write this review because I have never left a negative review like this before. One of the best parts of leaving reviews is shining light on the people who do amazing work that is often overlooked but this experience was simply disappointing.

My husband and I finally got away together for a weekend and had dinner with some friends at Catch 109 – it was so amazing that we came back a second time! We had apps elsewhere and then chose to forego dinner there and went back to Catch! We had the grapefruit martini, tuna poke, truffle steak fries, seared tuna, raw oysters, broiled oysters, shrimp scampi, and the prime rib crostini (my fav!!) The staff is amazing, and so is the atmosphere – we will be back!
