Flip Out
As we are wont to do, we decided to give this restaurant a try. It was a very authentic Mexican restaurant and the service was good. Mrs. Flip Out tried the carne asada and it had good flavor. I had the barbacoa de res and it had a nice flavor. The sauces added some good heat to it. Little Flip Out enjoyed the kids burger.

All I can say is WOW. Ordered pastor taco plate. Chips and sals were delivered to my table. Salsa, has no taste whatsoever and is portioned into a cup so small that I couldn’t even fit my chip into. The tacos come to the table and right off the bat I can tell that this meat is NOT fresh. Looks like it’s at least four or five days old. It has no flavor and the seasoning is gritty and pastey.. Really was hoping to find another great gem in this amazing town of food places, but this will certainly not be one of them. Mentioned my concerns to the staff and was offered a 50% discount. 50% discount for a plate of food I took one bite of. Thanks but no thanks. Do not recommend.

I just ordered their food today from the food truck off of Denison Street. My tacos were over cooked and very little dipping sauce. I called to inform them and all they said was they would let their manager know , a before that she told me that this is how they were made … I’ve had them before they are not suppose to be burnt , the shell is so hard and it just wasn’t good.

Never can get my order right…. every time I go here my order is wrong with toppings I’ve asked to be removed. I HATE onions and there’s half an onion on my plate. If they could get orders right they would be bomb. I’m giving them one more chance before I stick to the silver taco truck at the farmers market.

We have tried every taco in this part of north Texas and Castillo’s are the best! We moved to the area 2 years ago and the thing we miss the most about home is our taco place. Castillo’s delivered a comparable taco for us and it makes us feel like we are home! Thank you Castillo’s!
