Sat down for about 5 mins without a greeting. Had to find a server. Extremely loud! When you have repeat yourself to your server more than once it’s too loud. The calamari was bland but my burger was fire! It was hot, fresh and juicy. The burger was hanging over the bun! Haven’t seen that in years. The jumbo wings were juicy and flavorful.

Love this place! Had the most attentive and caring server… I believe her name was Jade? Our group was greeted immediately after walking in and received amazing service from our beautiful server the entire night! Anyways, great service and great food- we loved the specialty burgers and the wings were amazing! Cannot wait to return and bring more of my friends in!

Went on a Thursday evening with 2 other people and were seated immediately in a requested booth table. We all decided on mojito (2 with alcohol) and it was actually pretty strong and tasty. For food, we shared some fish tacos and one had vegetarian taco. We all enjoyed it, although the taco was more veggies than fish. I did enjoy the fries and broccoli that came with it though.

Hidden amongst all the restaurants and bars around UCF, Castaway is the closest vibe you can get to a sports bar without breaking the bank. Or feeling like the old person amongst all the college kids. The wait staff is super friendly and the bartenders are quick to deliver on the shots and drinks. Yet I feel that is where this sports bar peaks amongst others I’ve visited. I observed as the management staff focused on catering and chatting with regulars. I even saw some vaping inside. However my reason for this 3 star review has to do with the food. I am a huge fan of Mac n cheese, and when my server recommended it I was sold. What I got was a Luke warm plat of cheese and shells with chicken that was barely tossed in sauce. Normally if it is busy I’ll let it go. But I arrived before the Friday night football rush. Now I will say the staff did try to offer me an alternative and heated up the food as I requested. Even after they “heated” up my food, I felt I was eating shells out the box. My final thoughts, come here for the drink specials and awesome wait staff. But eat at one of the many other restaurants around.

The bartenders were okay overall. They didn’t write down my order nor my friends order, and they didn’t even bring out the right stuff to the right person. The female bartender Saturday mid afternoon was so comfortable that she literally put her Dirty a$$ shoes on the glass drying rack (health code violation) not to .entire after she tied her shoes, she didn’t even bother to wash her hands (another health code violation).

Was here for wing night this Wednesday not only was it the most affordable deal around it also lasted longer than I expected (6pm-11pm) all you can eat wing nights. Mitch was our server he said it was his first night on his own but we couldn’t tell. Definitely will be back again for bingo night next tuesday
