We were able to try Cash’s Chicken in Chapin today. The staff was friendly and the food came out very hot (and tasty.) If we had a critique, it would be that the breading fell off of the chicken tenders a bit and overall could use a little more coating. We ordered two 4 tender meals for around $17 and came home with extra to eat later. The honey butter glaze on the croissant was amazing. I could just dip the chicken in that all day.

Their chicken was quite delicious! We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The place was packed jam full. They cooked our order as we waited. The chicken was nice and crunchy and juicy. I loved it. P.S. Everything was nice and clean and everyone was polite and courteoue.

This place has really good tenders and sauce similar to Cane’s. The tenders are small because they are the actual tenders of the chicken (which tends to be a smaller, higher quality cut of chicken), they are not chicken strips (which is the chicken breast cut up). The meals come with drinks and are fairly priced. The fries were hot and crispy and the honey butter croissant is the best part of the meal!

What a great place to stop for lunch. We’ve been driving past this place for awhile and never stopped. Gladly we finally did. They have a nice menu of different chicken meals. I really recommend stopping. Staff were friendly and the place was decorated with veterans murals.

Parking lot is horrible. Almost left without getting any food because of that. While I’m aware that’s not really their fault but very inconvenient. Bird dogs were bland, gray colored meat. Maybe just an off day for them.

So I made the drive all the way from Lexington to try this joint. This place was good but definitely not amazing. I ordered the 4 tender meal with fries. I also ordered the mash potatoes and cole slaw so that I could say that I tried most of the sides. The guy who was the cashier told me my meal came with cole slaw. To my dismay I got all the way to my car and was pulling off before I realized he was wrong. It didn’t come with cole slaw . So I didn’t get to try that. He also charged me 75cents to switch out the cash’s sauce for barbecue sauce. Why ? It was even swap ♀️. Didn’t care for that. Anyway, the fries were those extra crispy crinkle cuts. While they were hot, they were not good. This is just a personal preference however. I hate extra crispy fries. Those went out the window on my way home. The mashed potatoes were stiff and not creamy with barely melted shredded cheese on them topped with salty bacon bits . Not good. The best thing were the tenders. They were not too greasy or salty. They were juicy and tender. That 75cent homemade barbecue sauce paired very well with it. Overall, the people were friendly and the establishment was clean. The price was also reasonable. My food came to about 13bucks and that was including the drink which comes with pretty much every meal. Overall I would return but only if I happen to be in the neighborhood.
