my family and I went because we had coupons that were current and good until the end of 2016, that they would not honor because of “new ownership”. our waitress was dismissive, impatient and had rushed off to clock out before we had even finished eating. the new owner, however, was nice and was left to wait on us. the food was pretty overpriced and they had a very limited menu selection. the wings weren’t tender enough. the crab cakes and chicken tenders were clearly cooked in old oil, as they looked like they were burnt. one order was incorrect and the waitress had mentioned fixing it, but never did. they also had no dessert menu, meanwhile a table beside us was given free homemade cookies. overall, my family and I were very dissatisfied with the service, the quality of food, the price and the general hospitality of the restaurant.

Menu is completely different due to new ownership. Not bad but definitely not what all the other reviews experienced. No dessert menu. No lobster Mac n cheese. Basic menu. Good food but not great. Nice bartender/waitress. Have us free homemade cookies for free.

Lets start this off by saying my wife and I enjoy food and rarely ever send it back. We started our night with balsamic glazed scallops and the mussels which we saw just sitting under the heat laps for over 5 minutes. We were hoping they were going to find their way to a different table, but to our luck they got plopped down in front of us. Still, making the best of the night, we powered on. Scallops were over cooked and had no seasoning whatsoever. The mussels were okay, I guess. I almost forgot we ordered them, that’s how good they were. On to the main course. We decided to split the Blue Fin Tuna, cooked rare (that we verbally described as being our “main”) and chose the asparagus, fries, and salad (knowing that we would pay extra for the extra side) as accompaniments to our dinner. What do we get? The seared Ahi Tuna app, the fried asparagus app, a side order of fries, and a side salad. When we said we ordered the tuna entree I think she knew a mistake was made. I specifically remember her asking us how would you like your tuna cooked and we said rare. If we had ordered the seared tuna app she would not have asked us. Anyway, one bite and I was out. Bland, poorly seared, and dry. So back it goes! We decided to replace the tuna with the Filet with no sides since we already had them. I have to say, this is the first time I have ever had a filet that was cut in two separate portions that were less than 1/2 an in thick. Almost like it was a piece of chicken that had been butterflied. Again, bland. The only seasoning was a seafood taste from probably being cooked on the same skillet as the fish. 100 bucks later, we were full (just happy to be in each others company) and a little buzzed. On a positive note, the cocktails were definitely up to par and made correctly with fresh ingredients.
