One of the least stellar Casey’s locations. They’re there, and they have gas. The food warmer is often bare. Windshield cleaner by the gas pumps routinely empty or frozen in the winter, all the squeegees for the windshields are rock solid and don’t do their thing. People are usually good though.

Called ahead to order Taco Pizza. Wasn’t ready as promised, she said they had gotten busy, which can happen. It wasn’t a big deal and I wanted the pizza, so I waited…20 mins longer.

Pizza is great, never been disappointed. Probably best gas station pizza around the area. However, their bone in chicken wings are all fat and grissle. Hamburgers taste like microwaved grade school burgers. Pork tenderloins have no meat and are just breading. Breakfast and chicken sandwiches are not worth eating and I can get better in the frozen section of the grocery store. Up until yesterday, I could order some sub sandwiches and was always pleased with quality and ease of service. The quality was still there yesterday, fresh ingredients and plenty of meat. However, I arrived at the time it told me to, but he was just getting the bread out to make my subs. That would have been ok, but he obviously was not trained well, or at all. I think the latter, I don’t think he was trained on sub making AT ALL. I stood there and watched the clock. It honestly took him 19 minutes to make two 6 inch subs. It was the craziest thing I have experienced in quite some time. I’ve never seen anyone be able to stall and move that slowly. I do feel sorry for him if he was not trained well. But, it was extremely frustrating to watch. I could have went across the street to Subway and had my subs in about 2 minutes. And they are set up the same way Casey’s sub counter is set up. I blame poor management as that kind of service should NEVER be able to happen. He should have been watching another employee make sandwiches until he felt comfortable doing it himself. That was surely not the case.

Freeport Casey’s Walked into the men’s bathroom and smelled like urine. Had to cover my face with my shirt to help not smell the urine. I looked at the floor and seen urine going to the floor drain by a toilet. The urinal needs a good cleaning along with the rest of the bathroom. Dakota Casey’s bathroom is always clean , excuses excuses and it is we’re not firing on all cylinders it’s Casey’s who not firing on any cylinders. Get it straight with your excuses for your lazy employees who can’t keep a bathroom clean. If your bathroom isn’t clean then your kitchen isn’t clean

So ordered online today, said 20 minutes. So okay no biggy, got to the store earlier and the lady making the wraps and sandwiches checked and realized it hadn’t been started. I’m an easy going person, but within seconds she started my pizza and was offered something to drink while I wait and was overall nice. It’s good to see that this store still has good customer service. Go to this place all the time for lunch, and never had a problem. Glad to see people still take care of customers!

It is a pretty nice gas station. Good variety of snack foods and their hot food is pretty good too. I recommend the breakfast pizza. They also have rewards that can earn you free stuff too.

Just went in for a biscuits and gravy and associate in purple shirt put the biscuits in with a tiny drizzle of gravy. I asked if I could get more and he said sure, but barely put anything in. I’m not a bird, I don’t eat scraps. When people come in to buy, they should get what they ask for. Anything else is an insult to our intelligence and your derilect food item can now sit on the counter.

Go to Casey’s for gas, E-85, at $1.95 a gallon it saves a bit of money. Now the issue. Fueled up 18 gallons and ordered two large pizzas for what the sign outside on the wall said would be $9.99 with one topping each. Drove three blocks away and thought that was pretty expensive. Pulled over, looked at the receipt and it was $9.99 each. I drove back and before I made a fool of myself, I looked at the sign. In small print a different color than the rest was the word each. I went inside and and told them the sign is very deceptive. A refund was offered as I walked out. I refused and just won’t return. Now the sign has been changed, I would bet my complaint was one of many.

Horrible experience. Cashier wasnt using the register correctly and it wouldn’t take my card. Finally she hit the button on her side but continued to tell me it was my fault, then decided to answer her personal cellphone in the middle of checking me out and didn’t say anything when my transaction was complete just continued taking a personal call in the middle of helping a line of customers.

In general, I think Casey’s do a great job. However I stopped at the Shannon store that said masks were required. Not only did none of the other customers have masks, but one employee did not have one and another was only covering her mouth and not her nose.
