I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl. I moved out of town and 10+ years, the food and service is still AMAZING! Their cheese steak is the best in town. Hands down. The restaurant has been remodeled but they left the old menus which gives it a nostalgic feel. I love this place and can’t imagine Plainfield without it.
Thoughtful Reviews
I tried this pizzeria for lunch. The eggplant parmesan and salad (with oil/vinegar already on it) were standard and ok. The cake tasted spoiled, so after two small bites, I did not eat any more of it. There are plenty of tables for seating, with a large screen TV for watching sports and there is on the street (metered) parking. They accept call-in and in person take-out orders also.

Ordered 4 Pizzas for delivery a few days ahead for a time sensitive kids party. Paid in advance. Called ahead over an hour before scheduled delivery to confirm everything and was told we were good to go. Delivery time came and passed, 10 minutes later I called the shop. They had no idea about my order and I had to send my husband to pick up (and miss the party) 4 pizzas with no apology. Cranky hungry kids and a party venue ready to kick us out. This place is a disorganized disaster. Never ever again.

-1 star because I’m still heartbroken that Joe the old owner sold. I would come here often as a kid and Joe became like a family member to us. Anyways, the pizza is tasty especially the sausage slice!! The mozzarella sticks are tasty too, can’t say much about the rest of the menu as I’ve never tried it but this pizzeria is definitely under rated! The pizza is so tasty

Have been ordering and getting delivered for about a year. The old owner Joe often delivers to us. He’s a great guy. I cannot however say the same for the staff in the restaurant or the miserable quality of the food. The calamari comes soggy ( three times now)and cold, and only half of the amount in an order you would get in the restaurant. We ordered 2 full orders and put together they barely fill one container. We ask for the pizza ( half plain, half pepperoni and mushroom) to be made well done. It comes soggy and barely warm. When we called to complain they tell us well we’re too busy to send someone out again. They won’t be getting any more orders from us. Such a shame.

They do not pay attention when taking your order. I ordered steak and cheese with French fries and never got my fries and there was no cheese on my sandwich. I’m very disappointed because I always order and this is the second time they messed my order up.
