A cute, small corner restaurant with great food and a great environment. Can have somewhat lengthy wait times (personal experience is between 30 minutes- 1 hour). Once seated, they serve chips with mole while you can enjoy some live music. Handmade tortillas were given with all the dishes we ordered. Service was pretty quick, corteous, and efficient. The food was all flavorful and freshly made.

One of my favorite spots to visit. Service is top-notch. Authentic Oaxacan food. They have live music and excellent Tlayudas. The fish in banana leaf is my go-to. Parking is a bit tough because they have a small lot, so make sure to carpool. Worth the visit.

Have you ever craved that authentic homemade enchiladas that your mother would make, you know the kind of recipe her ancestors passed down? Well if you answered “YES!” or “SI!” Then this is your Anthony Bourdain type of destination! Enchiladas so delicious you’ll probably eat too many!

First time going to Casa Oaxaca, we took our mom for her birthday

Celebrated my mom’s birthday here. We had good service and the food was all great but expected bigger portions for the price. Really recommend the Red Sangria. Over all I would recommend

Casa Oaxaca, is as close to a hole in the wall, authentic Mexican restaurant I had. Food was really good. My plate had steak, black beans, white rice and two chicken enchiladas drizzled with their sweet mole. My wife had shrimp al mojo de ajo accompanied with a size of Chile a ala diabla for extra flavor. The starter chips are light and tasty; served with sweet mole and queso fresco. Good place to sit down and get away from the fast moving industry world.

Service is very slow, but the employees are very friendly. Fish platter i ordered was brought out undercooked, I spoke to the waiter and they took it back to finish cooking it. Once brought our it was very gummy and not pleasant to eat. They did take the fish off the bill without me asking them. If you have a nut allergy stay clear from the mole and tres leche cake.

Be prepared for the most flavorful and authentic Mexican food you have had in a long time. This is not California “Mexican Food”, this is Oaxacan Food and you are going to find yourself thinking about how good it is a lot! Warning: it is addictive. We always start with the Maracuya (passion fruit) juice. The mole on the appetizer chips is amazing: sweet and just the right amount of chocolate. To really get a sense of the flavors and tastes of Oaxaca, I would suggest one of the sampler platters. The La Tentacion is perfect for 2-3 people. A perfect sampler for one person is either the Tipica Oaxacaqueño or the Molcajete Oaxacaqueño. We have never tried a dish that we did not love. Enjoy!! ♥️
