Wow, we wouldn’t believe had we not experienced it ourselves. Good parking, large, well laid out patio with plants and greenery. The talented guitarist was amazing not too loud and beautifully played. Now for the food..we had the Osso bucco fantastic, perfectly paired with risotto. We felt we got our monies worth and more. We will be back.

Excellent food, atmosphere and live music! Our waiter was actually from Italy and, although he was a little bit hard to understand with his accent, it added to the authenticity of the venue! It’s absolutely beautiful inside so don’t be dissuaded by the location being on the middle street of industrial area! It’s really a hidden gem of Westlake village!

Casa Nostra in Westlake Village is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. From the moment I step inside, I am always greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location, formerly known as the Plug Nickel, provides ample parking, making it convenient for diners. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The interior is tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Our party of 9 tried several menu items and all but one (1 of our 2 carbonaras) were excellent. The grilled calamari antipasto is highly recommended. A large variety of good desserts is a nice finish to a very enjoyable meal. The wine list has a wide variety to choose from. Service was exceptional. Overall a great value!

This Italian restaurant is a hidden gem in what looks to be a business park. Kind of an odd location considering that they are only open for dinner. Ate here for our New Years’ Eve dinner. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer, lamb chops, new york steak, and linguini with clams. The calamari was delightful; light and crispy with vegetable fries (zucchini, sweet potato, and yam, I think?). I’m told that the linguini dish was salty. I had mixed feelings about the lamb chops, considering that I ordered them medium rare and they came to the table almost overcooked. The balsamic reduction it came with was very good. The grilled radicchio that was hiding under the dark sauce… well, not such a great tasting experience. On the one hand, the lamb and the basic sauce paired really well together. It doesn’t matter if the radicchio is raw in a salad or cooked. The vegetable is just simply bitter. A terrible pairing, imho. And the potatoes just weren’t right for the dish, maybe fingerlings or baby gold potatoes would have been better than what I thought tasted a lot like starchy russets.

The food is okay. Not up to par with the high prices. There was nothing gourmet about the food. Pasta felt like it was ready made, same with souce.

My wife and I went to dinner and split the calamari and the osso buco. I had a couple of glasses of wine and my wife had a beer. We also had a wonderful dessert which was a lemon tart type dessert. We had a terrific experience it was very unexpected the location is not what you would expect. There is no Street signage that I remember and you feel like you are in an industrial park. Once you get inside the Ambiance is wonderful. There was a guitar player who played somewhat classical guitar I would say. He was terrific all in all we had a wonderful evening and we will be back.

We wanted to find a sit-down place to celebrate my niece’s graduation. My niece’s graduation ended later than expected, and a lot of places were closed. The manager was very kind and kept the kitchen open for us. The pasta and dessert were amazing. My neice had a great time. Many thanks to the great staff who stayed late.
