My husband and I were in town visiting from Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised how authentic the Mexican cuisine was! Very delicious. The bartender Mac did an amazing job making our drinks, especially the Michelada. It was one of the best we’ve ever had. He was very friendly and got our food and drinks out to us quickly. Can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful local Mexican restaurant. The beer is nice and cold. The service is top notch. Locals seem to hang out at the bar, creating a fun and homey environment. The food, OMG the food is amazing. I had the Birria taco plate (three tacos filled with shredded beef that was marinated in something amazing). They give you something even more amazing to dip the tacos in. Ask for the avocado and jalapeno sauce. If you are near Jonestown TX, stop here… You won’t be disappointed.

This place is terrible. They just bought a bag of chips and a jar of Old El Paso at the grocery store next door to them and call it authentic Mexican. I really wish they would go out of business and get out of the way, so a good place can enjoy the rewards of serving their community good food. Not even close to being good. Taco Bell makes better food than here and that is really sad, as Mexican food is probably the easiest food to make. This place sucks.

Solid Mexican bar/restaurant. We got takeout and the food was good quality. The employees were super nice to us when we picked up. Overall would say that it doesn’t stand out with something special, but if you are looking for Mexican food in the area, I would consider this place.

Came for takeout and had a margarita while we waited. The drinks were yummy, not too sweet and you can tell they make their own fresh citrus mixer. The food came out quickly and the staff were attentive, making sure we had our choice of salsas and chips to take home. The food is so good! Got the shrimp Valentina empanadas – bursting with fresh shrimp, and the pastor quesadilla – excellent flavor tortilla with a good meat to cheese ratio. The house salsa is amazing too and we are putting it on everything. Can’t wait to go back and try eating in house.

Food is terrible! Nothing Mexican about it. Very very salty. I have no idea how they have 5 star reviews. It’s not even good Tex Mex. Service was good! Do yourself a favor and go to Baja Luna in Jonestown. I hate writing bad reviews but this place needs major improvement.

Was greeted immediately as I walked in by a very friendly staff. My server, Kat, recommended the lunch special and it was terrific, well-portioned and brought out quickly, even though there was a fairly sizable lunch crowd. The margarita also was large and stout! Kat was very attentive and checked on me often, always a plus in a restaurant. Really enjoyed the food and service. Will definitely return and bring friends and family. Highly recommend…
