Immediately when you come in, you feel the warmth brought by the family business. Though the place is small, it is worth visitng as this small family restaurant does not fall short compared to other mexican restaurants. The food is not only fantastic with excellent flavors, but also every bite you take reminds you of that comfortable feeling you feel when eating home food. In addition to the excellent flavors, the price of the food itself is very reasonable and not expensive at all. Affordability and the excellent taste of homemade mexican food….what more can you ask for??

Excellent food, service and price. Our new favorite spot. I can’t wait to go back. The steak was so tender and had just the right flavor. The food wasn’t salty. BTW, the homemade chips were awesome. Outdoor seating was really nice too!

It’s really hard to wrap my head around how this place has so many great reviews. But that’s why we went, so I feel like I should give an honest review for anyone else blindly looking for a place to eat in Hudson. I don’t think I’ve ever left a restaurant leaving my entire meal untouched. The food was just that bad. I ordered vegetable fajitas, and what I got was a plate of very soggy frozen vegetables — carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, you know the bag of frozen vegetables you get at the dollar store — swimming in entirely unseasoned tomato sauce. My husband had the chicken enchiladas, which were unseasoned shredded chicken in a tortilla also covered with the blandest sauce, and the whole thing was barely warm. Honestly, the only edible things tonight were the plain unseasoned canned black beans and my toddler’s quesadilla (hard to mess up a quesadilla!) The service was extremely slow, but they were friendly. I know we are spoiled because we have lived in California and the South and traveled to actual Latin America, but this was exceptionally bad food even by New England Mexican standards. How can you have Latin food with NO SEASONING or spice whatsoever? And who has ever made vegetable fajitas with a bag of frozen sliced carrots and soggy brassicas soaked in tomato sauce?

Basically a take away place with some seating. Service was very polite and good and the serving sizes were quite big. Definitely a supremely affordable place with the quality of food being good though I wouldn’t classify it as superb which is why I haven’t given 5 ⭐ rating.

What a great establishment! Their food was amazing, large portions, authentic latin tastes, and friendly service. 10/10 would go back and would recommend!

It will take you an hour to get the smallest order if you’re lucky. And the kitchen is so gross. And the minimum tip for TAKEOUT is 20%! But then again I blame myself for tipping for takeout ahead of even receiving my order which then took an hour…

I’ve been craving for enchiladas for DAYS! Really satisfied with Casa Latina’s dish which is just so flavorful. Staff are accommodating as well!

Well let me start by saying that I am glad I came here for lunch instead of Taco Bell. There is nothing better than going to a small family owned cozy little cantina for lunch. This place is small, but offers indoor and outdoor seating. There is a definite Latin American atmosphere with all the decorations around the restaurant and statues along the window sill. Its like walking into your Abuelitas house. I ordered the ground beef burrito with a glass bottled coke. Nothing better than an old fashioned coca cola. Tastes better out of a glass bottle than a can. I love how the burrito was decorated like the Mexican flag, great presentation. As far as taste, excellent burrito filled with meat, cheese, and beans. If you are in Hudson, NY this is a place to try out if you want Mexican food. Two thumbs up

First time at this restaurant. They had 1 server and was quick and friendly. Nice small menu. Food was not spicy at all. All fresh food and sauces. Ordered a beef taco, beef burito and chicken enchiladas. Everything was fresh and hot. $27.00 with tax before a tip.

We love this place. Everything is good, but my favorites are the chicken soup and pupusas. During the summer, you can eat outside. Otherwise, it’s mainly takeout.
